Transparency International report is based on the results of 8 agencies, out of which, only 2 gave negative scores. These 2 agencies are:

I) BTI Transformation index
II) World Justice Rule of Law Index

From BTI Transformation index site: Time period for giving -ve ratting to Pakistan in 2019, is based on the period from Feb 1, 2015 to Jan 31, 2017 (available on their website).

All the indicators are from 2015 - 2017 - which party was ruling the country back than?

The Pakistani media is garbage and corrupt. They are used to kickbacks from previous regimes. In other countries media groups that present lies as facts or distort facts are heavily penalised.

The Pak government needs to regulate the media more strictly. Distorting facts has become a norm for Pak media.

I will say here what I said there.

There is not MORE corruption, it's just that more corruption is being documented.
During Nawaz's time, so much corruption was happening and so little of it was being documented.
PTI government is now documenting corruption and reporting it.

So on paper it seems like there is more, but in reality it's just being documented.
