What's new

Copy copy copy!!!

I see nothing wrong in this.
There may be nothing wrong with copying but declaring it as yours and receiving awards for other ppl's work without acknowledging them and as though you came up with it on your own is kinda disgusting!

What's the meaning, Sir?
of the whole song? Mere naam hai Mohabat = My name is love :p:

. .
@scorpionx some do see a problem with copying:

And when someone steals Indian songs within India ...2 carore compensation for 6 sec of similarities

Ooo, a romance ballad then.

Can you break down the Urdu for me, Ma'am?

Mere = my

Naam = name

Mohabat = Love ?
OMG born genius! :p:

Yea pretty much is

Mere naam hai mohabbat

Hai is like is for this sentence but @Emmie is an excellent Urdu teacher

Relax. Bollywood guys are not much known for high ethical values. We immediately get to know where they copy their music from. Its internet age after all.

Oh I am relaxed listening to songs on a weekend night is relaxing :p:

What better? Take ANY of the videos posted...not a dot has been changed not a single tune either...Indians only talent is their major population through which they managed to get spread  :sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:
If Indian songs are not better, how come they become more popular than Pakistani songs in Pakistan itself??.....to the point that Pakistani media uses Indians songs in their news feeds(see the video below).....

Most Pakistanis(barring a few pretentious ones who listen secretly) prefer Indian songs over their own....
In Pakistani social gatherings, marriages etc. only Indian songs are played....
Even your leaders prefer Indian songs.....and see how Pakistani media bitchin about it..

If Pakistani songs are better, atleast Pakistanis would prefer them ...isn't it??

Pakistani media uses Indians songs
That is a very strange to be proud of...the very media that cant distinguish between factor 8 and cancer vaccine probably doesnt even know its Indian song....

Whatever their case...their choice...Go interview em!

Like I said only thing India did do was make the song popular (due to their large population and hence larger market hence reaching more people. spreading faster like any virus needing a host)....Doesnt hide the fact where the creativity in lyrics or tune came from!

In Pakistani social gatherings, marriages etc. only Indian songs are played....
Yes a number of Indian songs are played but since they are copied from our own we treat them as ours! :enjoy:

As for the only, that is your complex....we do play alot of Pakistani songs which Indians wouldnt know are Pakistani coz you people have copied far too many to actually know its Pakistani over a stereo!

Even your leaders prefer Indian songs
Leader? Who NS or Zardari? ALL PDF Indians support them ....

how Pakistani media bitchin about it
Putting something in the news is bitching? WORD! no wonder the high level of ignorance in India

If Pakistani songs are better, Pakistanis would've preferred them atleast...isn't it??
We do...It is only Indians thinking that we are playing Indian songs when we are only playing our own songs....

So you still supporting stealing and copying? :pop: carry on! Thats all you are capable of doing to save face ....proof they like it or it sounds good over the fact that it kills creativity ! I guess it already murdered it hence the high level of support for continuing the stealing and copying without acknowledging! Go figure!

word to word stolen
tune stolen
remixed

ok credit for 1 song which is more ancient than

Sanson Ki Mala Pe (literally: On the rosary of breath) is a bhajan originally sung by Meerabai (c. 1498 – c. 1557 AD), a Rajput princess and a Hindu mystic from Rajasthan in praise of Lord Krishna. The song has been sung by many famous artists, and is one of the most popular songs of legendary vocalist, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and was first played by Khan when he first visited India in 1979.

So this one has gone round and lounda seems to want their rights to be acknowledged imagine how many can drag Bollywood to court from Pakistan :woot: If this wins I hope more go and drag the looters to court! Originality should be acknowledged if "inspired" by a previous version ....

I cant believe they didnt spare Alam Lohar :o: chimta man! and Abrar again nai yaar
That is what I am saying. Everybody know which songs some of the Indian composers copied are known because they are hit/widely watched while pakistani music wasn't that popular so no one knows how many were copied....

1st song
Kisi mehruban ne aa ke, meri zindagi saja dee
mere dil ki dadhkano may, nayi aarzoo jaga dee
mere chahato ka ab tak, na asar howa kisi per
onhay kuch khabar nahi hay, yaha zindagi mita dee
mera pyar hay ibadat, tujhe ye khabar nahi hay
jaha tera naam aya, wohi pe jabeen jukha dee
Na bara hay koi chota, sabhi aik hay jaha may
hay wohi azeem jis ne,nayi shamma aik jala dee
VS
Kisi meheban ne aake meri zindagi sajadi
Kisi meheban ne aake meri zindagi sajadi
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein nai aarazuu jagaa dii

Kisi meheban ne aake meri zindagi sajadi
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein nai aarazuu jagaa dii
Kisi meheban ne aake meri zindagi sajadi

Tanhaiya ki haradam aagosh kaa ye manzar
Thahara hua tha merii betaabii ka samandar
Betaabii ka samandar
Mojho ko aake cheda halachal koi machadii
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein nai aarazuu jagadii
Kisi meheban ne aake meri zindagi sajadi

Aai nahi bahaaren bas tha fiza ka mausam
Shyame bujhi bujhi thi benur tha ye aalam
Benur tha ye aalam
Andhere raaste mein mujhe roshanii dikhaa di
Andhere raaste mein mujhe roshanii dikhaa di
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein
Mere dil ki dhadkano mein nai aarazuu jagadii
Kisi meheban ne aake meri zindagi sajadi.

How many lines were "copied"?

.
Is there really anything called 'Pakistani song'...
Here's one considered something of nationalistic song, so much for pride that Indians couldn't create one for their Bharat Mata thus decided to give her the Pakistani version.

.
Talk about decades of copying and hitting top hits!! :woot:

From lyrics to tunes nothing was spared!! We feel the love :p: of our talent

I seemed to have a natural talent of ONLY liking the Bollywood songs that were copied from 1950s (basically any maybe) Pakistani songs (which I had never heard and now I do hear them and they are awesome)...Thanks for reintroducing my own to me!! :D

Then they didnt even spare these:

Didnt even spare Junaid Jamshed :( or our Quawali didnt even spare Sajjad Ali :o:
