Why didn't turkey built any nuclear power plant till now? I consider Turkey technologically better than India and Pakistan. Then why Turkey hasn't built nuclear power plant till now?

Yup. Turkey should've gotten on board the nuclear train back then too but we were far too dependent on the US handouts at that time to have an independent national policy. Oh well. Better late than never.

Yes,the Americans helped you with that but think of why they didnt offer it to us then.
It would have been easier for us to become a nuclear(bombs) state,you think they would want that?
There was the fear of going against Israel so it was never going to happen.
If you ask why now,well we are more independent,our economy can handle it and the world has changed,nuclear energy is open to all countries now.
