I think what you heard is about fat men being less inclined to activities usually attributed to testosterone. That is reportedly true, due to processes that convert body fat into estrogen. Testosterone, if I can remember, is simply oxidized estrogen (a -OH- replaced by an =O), or the other way around, and it latches on to fat molecules in certain abdominal(?) areas and gets oxidized.

The reason why fat men have breasts is that fat/cholesterol is converted into estrogen in the suprarenal gland and this more estrogen there is something to do with it binding to GSBG or Albumin but that will take us to more details I am sure you don't need.
