What's new

Congrats Tejas MK1A will be approved this budget year for 5 Squadrons

What Pakistan think about our Mirage 2000? You don't consider them as a challenge?

I think you are too much underestimating our availability rate.... 30% looks unreal
M2K are no doubt very lethal jets, i would have very much wanted them to be in PAF, but tbh, this era is more about avionics and armaments instead of name of a jet.

For example, our Block 3 Thunders, even though are considered by you guys as being nothing due to their name being Pakistani and a JV with China, but it is more advanced than our Block 52 F-16s in terms of radars and PL-15.

What you guys lack are reliable and advanced AAMs and low rcs fighters

Your primary fighter SU-30 itself is ~50%. Other fighters like MIG-21, Mig-29 and Jaguars are in much worse shape.

Government admits only 55% of fighter aircraft fleet operational owing to technical issues

IAF serviceability rate is around 50 +-

kid yourself all you want to, but think about this IAF has rejected F-16 BLK 70<F16IN> the most advanced F16 offered yet and accepted Tejas MK1A

Why cant you read it more carefully first... read again.. 5 SQN to be approved this budget year 2020-2021 ...

In Your fantasy. India rejected the F-16IN (close to Block 60) in the MMRCA tender mostly for political reasons and non-availability of source codes.
The F-16 Block 70s offered after the MMRCA/Rafale negotiations crashed has never been rejected. India has just had a severe case of indecisiveness.
Basically producing a lot of hot air, and nothing else.
The F-16 can only be rejected if India makes a decision in the multiple times restarted MMRCA.

They currently have 700 fighter aircraft and we have 500.

What's the issue?
4th gen jets
India:
3 Rafales+250 SU 30 MKIs+66 Mig29UPGs+36 Mig29Ks+18 Tejas+41 Mirage 2000s=414
Pakistan:
76 F 16s+118 JF 17 Thunders=194

The gap is going to increase as about 90 Tejas are going to be inducted, SU 30 number to touch 272, remaining Rafales to come and India to go for some more Mig29 UPGs

With %50 availability rate IAF pratically has only ~200 fighters.

So PAF has 1:1 ratio with IAF.

If we add PAF vs IAF pilots to the mix, PAF has 3:1 ratio.

Modi ia screaming about Rafales, bharati trolls on pdf scream tejas is the best.

Come on indians atleast makeup your mind which of the aircraft not even in service of IAF is the best ???

F16 was rejected by IAF bcz of the simple fact that Pakistan has been flying that jet for past 5 decades. Inshort we know every nook and corner of that jet. Secondly India has faced unimaginable embarrassment bcz of TEJAS so inducting them will mitigate the negative publicity. India had inducted ARJUN Tank in massive numbers not bcz it was capable but bcz it would be embarrassing to admit it is a failed product.

TEJAS has similar issues like ARJUN Tank meaning 60% of its components are imported from several different vendors.

And, you believe India is going to attack Pakistan with 400 4th Gen aircraft?

I mean, do you seriously think that Indians are dumb enough to move 400 of their best aircraft to within Pakistan's firing range?

What do you think happened on 27th February 2019? Where were India's 200 SU-30 MKIs? Indians were that scared of further Pakistani air strikes that had to bring in ballistic missiles to the theatre.

Stop running around like some darpoke little kid with your tail between your legs.

About 90 jets additional is not a joke. We seriously needs to add up our Fighters Planes. JF 17s are not enough. We need additional jets
With the recent performance of jf 17s on 27th feb, I think these jets are more than enough for PAF. No need to go for any aircraft.
Rafael and Su 30s are a non issue.

F-35, F-16, J-20, J-10, J-31, JF-17 all have DSI

Both US & China have mastered DSI.
DSI tech was tested on F16...but not produced on large scale on any F16 variant. As for J10 only J10C(and not the previous iterations of J10) has DSI and still China continues to use 100s of J10A and J10B that don't have DSI. J31 is only at prototype stage. The only aircrafts that have been mass produced with DSI are F35, J10C, and JF17. So what exactly are u trying to prove here? Can u counter his argument that "there are plenty of very effective fighter jets without DSI"? Or r u just arguing for the sake of argument?
However, it a good steps and next 10 years will decide whether we learnt from our mistakes or not because AMCA should be inducted before 2030.
Seems way too optimistic to have AMCA inducted before 2030.
