You claiming Kashmiri identity is funny. You look like an Indo-Tibetan from your avatar. Maybe you should invest in bleaching cream to fool the masses. :D
Maybe I should. :agree: On second thoughts, naaaah. :P

But this 'get white' thing has never been popular in my place.

:P Amusing. I have been called many things but not Nepali. Kumaoni, Bihari, UP, Dogra, etc and now for the first time - Nepali. Feels nice, Nepalis are fearless. (Sometimes I)Wish I was a Gurkha. :agree:

I have always maintained that the biggest loser of Partition was the Sindhi Hindu (non Muslim) community as they lost all of their homeland to an Islamic republic. There should have been a partition of Sindh like Punjab and Bengal and Sindhi non Muslims should have had their part of Sindh in India.

Same goes for UP, Bihar, Gujarat and Kerala.

Nothing is permanent. It was a mistake. It is still possible to partition Sindh some opportune moment in the future. Difficult, may be, but not impossible.

On the borders of Sind-Gujarat lives Peer Pagaras and their followers known as army of hurs...they fought Britishers and then Indians and they will do it again.

The Pir’s political clout derived from his spiritual influence over the Hurs. When, in 1965, war broke out between India and Pakistan, Hurs volunteered in droves at his behest to blunt the Indian offensive and fought ferociously alongside Pakistan Rangers and regular army units. In the late 1960s Pir Pagara’s Hurs crushed gangs of dacoits who were wreaking havoc in Sindh.

The Pir Pagara - Telegraph

Pir Pagara is a powerful spiritual leader with a million tribal members known as Hurs (free and brave men). The Hurs consider the Pir Pagara as literally their god on earth. -

Imbued with strong sense of patriotism, Pir Pagara supplied thousands of volunteers to the Pakistan army during the 1965 and 1970 wars against India. Thus militarily the Hurs are a great source of strength. That is why the Pakistan Army was not deployed on the Thar border and the vast expanse of Sindh desert was open to the enemy. India could have chosen the area of its operations and done irrevocable damage to the country but the militia of Hurs proved to be easily available substitute for the Army.

Facing a shortage of troops and unable to divert any substantial forces from the Punjab and Kashmir sectors (where the main Indian thrust has come), the commander of the Pakistan Rangers, Brigadier Khuda Dad Khan, turned to local help. Hurs volunteered in droves. Given only basic training and light weapons, the Hurs nevertheless gave a fine account of themselves in the conflict. Fighting alongside Rangers and regular army units (known collectively as the Desert Force), the Hurs used their knowledge of the desert to good effect and helped to blunt the Indian offensive. But perhaps their most famous (and militarily important) action was the capture of the Indian fort of Kishangarh, a feature located several kilometers inside India.

Rather a UBCS1 (US Born Confused Sindhi-1) basically like a rolling stone. We actually dealt with one more stranger case when one of our Canadian colleague (Born in Qubec) asked us to name him and his name came out CBCFS2 (Canada Born Confused French Sindhi-2) :P
