Internal inquiry to establish who did it would take time, 5 days is very efficient actually. We are a responsible nation who won't start blaming you within minutes of the incident, its not our trait. High Commission is not there to act as a financial institution or a corporation. And even if I for one second accept your argument ........ do you understand what "scope limitation" means and how badly it reflects as an auditor's opinion in an audit report.

My question is are you really telling me you didn’t hire security to guard your compound, given that security of embassy is not the responsibility of host country but rather the embassy.
Second why not report to the police as soon as they found out, why wait until your govt back home formally call the ambassador and hand him letter of protest, do note this makes it look like you’re claiming your host country in the alleged robbery in which case you are justified to declare war..,
