Comment-Mutton Seekh Kabab made by me for the first time

The guy has prepared Kababs for the first time. He even doesn't know what seekh kababs actually are.. We should give him credit at least.


Why are you taking so much interest?
Dude in Bangladesh people cannot differentiate between Seekh Kabab Bihari Kabab or what.

Most restaurants use ingredients of Bihari kebab and call it Seekh kebab. As @DalalErMaNodi said that for us Kebab is a Kebab

Probably because he's worried about your cholestrol level - something on which Bhabhi ji was working on last year.

I tried to lower my cholesterol through changes in diet, not much changed.
Then I bought bicycle and also started going to gym 3-4 days a week.. cholesterol came down.. not too much but it was coming towards the borderline high mark. Then corona happened.. and I stopped going to gym due to lock down.

Point is, I have realized that diet has little to do with cholesterol level at least for me.

Should have put vinegar. Its somewhat rubbery.

did you add salt in the seasoning ?

DONT .

use salt at the end after you cooked as it makes the meat tough and rubbery

also when cooking meat in the pot don’t add cold water for the curry use boiling water as cold water makes meat tough .

Its not kkebab if meat is not minced. Its mutton tikka or bbq. But its burnt, the heat mist ve been too high.
A properly done mutton tikka will be juicy and easily cut with teeth. It requires skills.
An easy shortcut it to steam the tikka afterwards to make it softer.

cholesterol is easy to tackle. Eat oatmeal/daliya for breakfast every day for 3 months. :lol:
