Pakistan hails Turkey's role for peace in Afghanistan
President Mamnoon Hussain expresses satisfaction over existing cooperation between Pak-Turk armed forces.
President Mamnoon Hussain has conferred the award of Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) on Admiral Bulent Bostanoglu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces at a special ceremony in Islamabad.
The President decorated Admiral Bulent Bostanoglu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces in recognition of his contributions in enhancing strategic cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey.
Later, Admiral Bulent Bostanoglu called on President and discussed with him matters of mutual interest.
President said the people of Pakistan and Turkey are bound together in strong fraternal relations based on shared religious, cultural and historical affinities.
The President lauded the constructive role and efforts of Turkey in ushering in peace and stability in Afghanistan.
