There are some phenotypic variance, but , overall, it is hard to tell us apart. Chinese and Japanese are quite similar.

Koreans, however, they have a very unique phenotype. Koreans are more closely related to ethnic Manchu and Mongols, imho.

FYI when I go China, everyone thinks I am China minority and no one think I am Han Chinese.

I can easily differentiate northern Chinese and Southern Chinese as well.

India's current modern natural allies are all those countries in the region who feel China breathing down their neck. Its natural. And it has till recently not been fully exploited properly. That does seem to be changing rapidly though.

The Japanese men generally carry a lot of D, which is pretty exotic for us.

We have mixed a lot with Mongols and Manchus, so today we are getting closer to them.

Well, most South Chinese PDF members keep telling you in such manner probably because they feel themselves closer to the North Chinese than to the Malays.

Since Beijing right now is center of the politics and culture, and the North Chinese culture will indeed become dominant in China.

No joke, I can tell them apart most of time.

Of course, I also use to observe their way of dressing and behavior in order to tell them apart.
