Coloured up: Muslims and Christians join Holi celebrations

Then plz answer simple question. Why has radicalization on a never dipping rise since 1980s ?

We all know Pakistan is controlled by Army. Even today Democracy is alive in Pakistan coz Army is under pressure from West to not set a coup.

With so much control why cnt it eradicate radicalization, especially when even u know that pakistan wud be in shambles forever until and unless not got rid of this fundamentalism.
Past events may have some affects but lets talk about Present.....

if you think Pakistan is completely under Army's control and that West is helping Democracy to prosper then why our current Government including KPK's is going all against Army's and West's wish to go straight into war with the militants in FATA?

Our Gov wants Talks...Army n west wants war! they want to deal the matter only with guns!

no neither our army.....you are being Biased just becuz you belong to other side of the border....most of the army families and working/retired men are very much friendly and open towrads other faiths.....they are patriotic but not extremists....

equally laughable as how you painted our whole Army as anti-other religions:lol: its foolish to think like that!
kyun bhais k agy been baja rahi ho......

This forum has a lot of extremist hindus and no matter that we do they cant get our of their complex. When i joined the forum even i used to defend that and used to try to remove their misconceptions but that never works with them.

So just hit them hard.

Thats what u believe rite? Unfortunately ur Army dont. Zia's seed has radicalised the whole army and ur Army calls the shots in ur country. U guyz need an Anti-Zia kind to transform ur Army. Once dont the religious fanaticism wud start declining and hence the progress of Jinnah's version of Pakistan.

Mazrat se; Pakistan will develop as Pakistanis want it to develop. Pakistan does not belong to Zia or Jinnah, it belongs to the people of Pakistan.
These days everyone is on extreme end of things: hardcore mullah or liberal/western-wannabe. There should be a middle ground.

Anyways it's good to see people enjoying themselves. If something doesn't really go against the principles of Islam, there shouldn't be any harm in practicing it. Granted of course, that it doesn't have some sort of religious meaning behind it (i.e. A god's "birthday" or whatnot).

Well, I understnd that Army do want War but West wants talks. Thats what their official stance is regarding and towards Pakistan. Can you help me with ur claim regarding West rigidly wanting War with Taliban rather than resolution of conflict with either War or talks?

I think West is in favor of whatever that works for establishment of normalacy in Pak as against ur claims which says West only wants War and no other option.

Drone strikes for example.....they werent willing to quit them but they had to upon our Gov's pressure n PTI's n IK's strong stance, the US even used it the very next day or same day when our new gov officials met the militants for the very first time for talks....before these meetings,US assured Pak they wudnt do it but they did.....the talks process stopped and both gov and millitants had then differences over this....etc it was a set back! our interior minister strongly condemned it n blamed the US completely for it!

Abe yaar. Kyon mujhe hardcore Hindu bol rahe ho especially when I openly disregard RSS ideology.

People who know me understand that I always question the attitude of people rahter than the faith they practice. If I criticize Muslims it doesnt mean I criticize Islam. There is a huge logical difference. My questioning comes naturally when I see attitude of people completely different from teachings of Quran. Nobody every answered my queries but assume that I am anti Islam.

We Hindus in majority practice exactly as our religion with no contradiction. Thats why RSS ideology is in huge minority in India. Some reason why BJP and Modi had a radical shift away from their RSS thot process. They have finally understood the mind of a common Indian.

But why cant I see that in Muslims? I mean majority of Muslims. Islam teach something but Muslims practice something. This thing is again very beautifully kept forward philosophically by people like Hassan Nisar, Orya, etc.

hassan nisar himself is the one u shouldnt follow if u r to understand us.

Why? Coz he openly points out the rot in ur society? If not Nisar then who? Zaid Hameed? :D
LOL u people just follow him because he says what u want to hear. Certainly not a way to find truth.

Anyways im not interested to talk with u on this matter. I have long divorced this habit to talk rationally with an indian.

bye bye.

no you are just may be trying to reduce your 100 kg + weight:disagree:....we agree it doesnt have to do anything with any religion:tongue:
:o: 100kg + ??

No but seriously, I do like yoga, It's a real sweat fest, intense workout if done properly.

yup is a separate issue as far as holi is concern but yoga is a NO bro. It was their religious rituals in it and even indonesia has banned it.

Even there was a time i also used to do it(way back when i didnt knew) but it actually doesnt really work. Its just more like a impression then reality.

If for u only fitness is an issue then start praying 5 times a day. Its way better exercise then early morning yoga. Its working for me.

Bro, I considered it a lot before starting, watched and read all the work outs, searched around for what's said for and against it in the Islamic community. I take my faith seriously.

My own conclusion and method is that it is permissible if and only if the religious, faith parts of it are ignored or missed out.
And I do see the benefits, I feel myself getting more flexible, durable, I breathe better, my posture is improving.

When I'm doing these workouts, the only thing I feel like I'm doing is just some poses, and stretches. Given a fancy name with a distinct style. No religious or faith questions even arise.

Oh and you're right about prayer, only after starting yoga did I realise the physical similarities between out prayer and it's physical benefits and the benefits of yoga. With that being said, we both know nothing worldly and seemingly ordinary holds so many benefits as prayer.

@Zaryanshah Once again you missed the point.

The yoga workout that I do, has NO mention of religion, no mention of faith, no mention of it's origins, no mentions of words belonging to different cultures or faiths.

ALL it is, is a series of stretches, poses, meditation, bodily workouts, with a name called 'yoga'.
Take the name away and all the fears of it being un-Islamic go, as far as what actually goes on, nothing there conflicts with my faith at all.

Let me tell you a little story. back a while ago, I was in London, doing my grocery shopping, I went to halal meat store and I was waiting for my order, there were a few men, shop workers and others standing around too. One of them was talking about Birthdays, and how it's wrong to celebrate them. How he considers it haraam, says it's a waste of time. A western invention.
Usually I let this sort of thing pass, I usually ignore and carry on. But this guy wouldn't stop, so I told him, I said that I saw nothing wrong in celebrating the birthday of a loved one for whatever sentimental reason, if not for the smile and happiness of the person who's birthday is being celebrated, what other reason?? I also told him that he lives here in a multi-faith and multi-cultural society and he'd better grow some thick skin. But then he started talking religion, claiming that it was a waste of time and wrong, and that Islam doesn't teach such things. Now this is when we asked him what about the Prophet (PBUH's) birthday, we celebrate it right? We love him. Though we don't call it a birthday, we call it Eid Milad un Nabi.
Then I left, and so did the other guy, I saw him leaving, and this wonderful pious Muslim lecturing others in all his eternal wisdom had his car parked in the disabled parking area. Moral of the story, religion can be down to interpretation, one's faith must be strong, this man was right in saying the partying culture with Birthdays is haraam, but that doesn't mean all similar celebrations are wrong.

Now, I read through the guidance you posted, but it is all written under the pretext that the type of yoga done is in line with the traditional sense with it's religious and cultural aspects. If you don't want to do yoga or denounce it in that form then fair enough, that's your personal choice. I see nothing wrong in it.
