‘COL IMAM’ AS I KNEW

.
His support to the TTP, which eventually cost him his life.

I think Afghan Taliban respected Col Imam and TTP killed him........ Is there any ideological difference between these two groups or they are on same grid?

The TTP and Afghan Taliban are more like a franchise. Different local commanders using the brand for their groups have divergent goals and policy. Some groups are closely intertwined with TTP groups, others have a turf war with them. For the most part, they share sympathies and are allied in instances.

The older generation respected him, the newer one didn't

Why not to eliminate TTP with the help of other groups having turf war with them?
Or we are suffering due to our policy blunders of Gen Musharraf

What is TTP's End-Game realistically speaking? I believe these people are intelligent enough to realize that they can't ever over throw Pakistani state. AFAIK they don't have separatist agenda but rather quasi religious one.

They don't have any agenda apart from spreading chaos.

There was a time when Pakistan supported some of the groups which are part of the amalgamation known as TTP. All that changed with the change of policies brought on by Musharaf admin and infiltration by foreign agents.
From Pakistani proteges they became orphans and were then brought home by agents of NDS working under the directions of RAW and at times CIA.

Money could be an answer I agree for their few top leaders, but not the only one. They need to state some end-game to gullible masses they use as cannon fodder.

There is no end game for them. Their end game is the same as that of India and the US, a weak Pakistan which is disconnected from Afghanistan and Central Asia, begging for aid from America and mercy from India.

For the foot soldiers it's just a high dose of religious brain washing.

I think Gen Hamid Gul was leading the ISI during Soviet Invasion period.

He is wrongly credited for this, he join ISI quite late at the time when the fight was all most over Russian were secretly negotiating their withdrawal form Afghanistan with USA & Pakistan (indirectly) .... in fact Gen. Hamid is criticized for his role at the concluding stage of Afghan Jihad some term his tenure as a 'FAILURE' because of his over ambitious strategy which extended the Afghan regime more then its natural life & weaken the Afghan Mujahideen ....

Its the International & Indian Media who attributes the success of others to his name as per their requirement of having a living breathing figure form ISI to criticize .... (others till that time were not known, & the one Gen. Akhtar Abdur Rehman who was known to International Community was Died in plane crash with Zia.)

Col. Imam was by all acounts a incredible character. He would be subject of great movie by Hollywood. His person sorta of reminds me of the renegade Col. Kurtz in Apocalypse Now.
