Extension means deal with the corrupt & spineless Govt., that we the bastard politicians will continue to rob Pakistan while you continue to support DEMOCRAZY, just like jabroni Kayani.

When Gen. Raheel started Zarb e Azb he became a hero, when he started ops in Karachi & at the same time ops against corrupt politicians he became an icon but after his announcement of retiring he is going to leave everything on pending status rather than completing his mission for Pakistan. Also these corrupt & treacherous politicians have crossed all lines of limits & have harmed Pakistan in every possible, whether it is ruling party or opposition both have very badly harmed Pakistan.

The happiness of corrupt, spineless & treacherous politicians on upcoming retirement of COAS is a clear proof that all corrupt bastards are united against Pakistan & are going to return to harm Pakistan with even more insidious agenda.

Pakistan should come first & the safety of Pakistan from Domestic & Foreign enemies should be our PA's number priority, if they have to take over Pakistan to save it, then yes they should do it. DEMOCRAZY has given nothing to Pakistan except for pain, deep wounds & damages.

.
He has done an excellent job imo don't know why we ppl first make gods out of our COAS's and then we bash them for literally every thing i think ppl expected just too much from him but still he did what was possible by him. But i do hope actually it's my wish that someday he would join politics and maybe one day who knows he will be our future PM just imagine that :)

I guess it's a subcontinent phenomenon

It’s an open secret that incumbent Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has garnered wider people’s support than any top civilian leader – supposedly for his resolute leadership and some bold initiatives in fight against terrorism.

His statement the other day clarifying he will not be seeking extension in his service and retire on the due date, added more to his public admiration.

The army chief’s esteem among the public was not circumscribed to the popular slogan #ThankyouRaheelSharif – it rather transformed into graffiti and memes on social media.

We take a look at some of the occasions when people made their support public for the ‘Pakistan savior’’.

1- A man places a banner of Gen Raheel Sharif with Pakistan flag at rear portion of his vehicle to express his love for the army chief.

2-When army chief inaugurated the Pakistan vs Army XI match in Peshawar by hitting Afridi for a four. The moment caught all public attention and praise.

3-A man proudly pastes a poster of Raheel on his car hood.

4-Pakistanis and admirers of Gen Sharif cluster around him when he was spotted during Umrah.

5-It’s not posters and graffitis alone. Now public products also feature the army chief picture, indicating his growing popularity.

6-The army chief was the first dignitary to welcome students at Army Public School on its reopening after the deadly attack on December 16, 2014.

7-A billboard showing unflinching support for Gen Sharif in Karachi and it went viral on the social media.

, if they have to take over Pakistan to save it, then yes they should do it.
They can't save it by taking it over, they simply don't have the capacity or ability.
DEMOCRAZY has given nothing to Pakistan except for pain, deep wounds & damages.
Even with a few rigged seats, the fact remains that millions of people voted the PMLN and PPP into power at the Center and various provinces.

The Pakistani electorate and Pakistani people have given Pakistan pain, wounds and perpetuated the cycle of corrupt political leaders playing musical chairs in power. The Army can't change this behavior, only the Pakistani electorate can.

. .
In my opinion, I don't agree.
Which is your right, but history and the facts don't support your contention.

The Army as an institution is trained for conflict - yes, it has certain arms (engineering, medical corps, logistics etc) where you'll find individuals trained to deliver the relevant services very well, but it simply does not have either the manpower or the requisite skills to take over the running of the country. It has corrupt individuals within its ranks as does any institution. That corruption is kept in check to some level by the processes built into the Army, processes that are designed to function within the limited scope of the Army's existing functions. Expanding the role of the Army into governing the country will overwhelm those processes and over time the institution will become just as corrupt as the current elected governments.

The answer here is that Pakistanis need to stop being lazy and looking for some messiah to miraculously turn the country around and start understanding what their responsibilities are, especially when it comes to voting.

I believe that when PA takes over, they won't be running the country directly they will form Nationalist Technocrats & give them the task to run Pakistan, while PA takes full control of security of Pakistan without any interference.

Why can't Pakistanis put "nationalistic technocrats' into power when election time comes around?

You are expecting wrong from the owners of DEMOCRAZY. They will never allow a Nationalist ever to come up.

The owners of democracy are all Pakistanis eligible to vote - if Pakistanis don't take their responsibilities as citizens seriously, no institution or individual can change the path Pakistan is on.

I can safely say that 60% or more votes are fake, people who to vote for good people like IK, the ballot boxes & the votes go missing this was witnessed in the previous election. PPP & PML-N made sure they win the election with a huge margin thanks to those 60%+ fake votes. It was revealed by one of PML-N's own worker that PML-N has many ways of rigging elections which we can't even imagine. The one way is to get so called independent candidates, once they win they go back to their parties.

He is proving more of a media general than a real one..releasing all the songs and fanfare on APS attack and then we have the repeat at Bacha Khan...

so the corrupt politicians who dont want the presence of Gen Shareef are offering him extension but he is refusing it! yet its the fault of politicians !

That's more ISPR, he has little to nothing to do with the media.

@That Guy
My point of view or opinion is slightly different Gen Raheel done and doing tremendous Job but my argument is that We have many even better Generals than him basically i love the institution and for that i don't need idols to worship. Gen Haroon Islam was a strong candidate but again civilian retard wants to install his puppet and failed miserably. I believe Gen Raheel wants to set the standards by not getting extension.

Again solute to brave man who wants to screw the corrupt.

.
I have Few points
People forget one thing Army isnt just one man show its institution so when every general keeps getting extension it just mess up things
Problem with most pakistani people is that they are simply too idiots to understand whats happening
Army's job is to defend borders and country not to run politics but problem is everyone leader cries about democracy but politicians and the common people are the one hurting it .
Kiyani and Raheel both served there country well
Leme put it in simple words people are happy when afridi is trying to hit every ball but get bored misbah plays a slow game while rest of his time is loosing wickets
Kiyani was a spy he faced problem nationally and from international community , politicians and world even pakistani people weren't trusting Pakistani armed forces
To big of gap every where so he coudnt just go out and play cow boy and risk millions of lifes of his fellow citizen he made a stage and gave it to raheel and he used it marvellously now its the turn for next turn
People forget one thing the organisation which is behind every coas army . All of them are fighting its not just one person give them some space one mission at a time and losing is not a option
