I am a local business man, I am very much interested in Thar coal project and I want it to flourish for Pakistan's sake.
I am looking to set up a coal washing plant based on Thar coal. However on basis of my initial investigation it seems that a coal washing unit is more feasible if you are your self a coal producer. I don't want to commit myself neither do I have the funds to get a thar coal block for mining. My intentions were to buy coal from local mine producers and then wash it and then export or pass it on to local end consumers. So my question is
. What should be the strategy to make such an arrangement economically viable.
. Another question is can I get exact specs of the Thar coal field in terms of moisture, ash content and sulphur because every where I read I get conflicting numbers.
