We can win against Udinese, but we are totally screwed against United, lets see what the injury situation turns out to be until friday, then we could see some thing, if Wilshere, and Djourou get fit, then it could be a whole lot easier!!!.

But WTF is wenger doing, buy a Effing playmaker man, or at least play a 442 up front considering RVP is totally isolated, he does not have cesc to get in the passes, so get RVP a bit deep and play Theo with his pace up front, could be nice. Need to buy a Full back ASAP as well.!!

God Save The Arsenal!

Aameen

bus dua hi kar saktey hain hum arsenal fan ;)
in Arsene we trust

WTF, why do United always get a piss easy group?, Arsenal should go through well enough. City could be in trouble.

Arsenal lost playing away to Olympiacos last time
Dortmund God save Arsenal
Marseille ok type team but dangerous

nah, it is still an easy group. CL games are nice at home in the group stages. Home wins in all three, win against Olympiakos and Marseille and we are good.

Problem is injuries
Rovers(away) after Dortmund away game
Bloody stoke(home) after Marseille away game
everton (home) after Olympiakos game

rovers and stoke game will be tough. Gunners love injuries and these 2 games can really damage our season.

lets hope the International break is kind on us!

some interesting groups in Europa league
group I (the best)
Atletico Madrid (ESP)
Udinese (ITA)
Stade Rennes (FRA)
FC Sion (SUI)

Dude you are comparing Zindane,Figo,Ronaldo,Raul,Roberto Carlos,Beckham to David Silva,Tevez,Aguero,Yaya Toure, Sami Nasri? Not a fair galactico to galactico comparison. Manchester Shitty are a half decent team at best having money hungry A-holes like Mario Balotelli.

Group D isnt bad either. Ajax do have the potential to upset Lyon definitely and maybe even Real.

Are we still in the 70's? Last year during the group stage we beat Ajax 6-0 over two legs.

The groups look straight forward enough appart from group A though i hope we can destroy Lyon this time with at least a 6-0 drubbing. They knocked us out a couple of times in the round of 16 and have started to think they are at par with us.

'It is difficult to award penalties against Barcelona' - Porto's Vitor Pereira

Porto coach Vitor Pereira praised his side's display in the 2-0 Uefa Super Cup defeat to Barcelona but lamented that the referee failed to signal a penalty in the second half.

The Europa League holders had penalty claims dismissed by the referee after Eric Abidal collided with Freddy Guarin inside the area 10 minutes from full time.

If Porto had successfully converted from the spot, they would have equalised the match at that point, and Vitor Pereira has criticised the work of the match official.

"I know it is hard to signal a penalty against Barcelona on 80 minutes. If it was in the opposite area, it would have been a penalty," Pereira said.

The Portuguese coach, who took over from Andre Villas-Boas in the summer, stated he is happy with the way his team played, saying: "I think we had a great game, always on Barcelona's level. We wanted to score, we used high pressure, we wanted the ball and we wanted to win the game. We played well in the first half and even after being down 1-0, we had one or two chances."
