No they came after conversion from F 7 .
F/O and F/L who are excellent get the chance to fly F 16s . even Acm mujhaid started flying F 16 when he was newly promoted F/L

No they came after conversion from F 7 .
F/O and F/L who are excellent get the chance to fly F 16s . even Acm mujhaid started flying F 16 when he was newly promoted F/L

At that time they were trying to get brand new Flight Lieutenants into F-16 squadrons, with the first ones starting in 1985. He was sent to No.14 straight out of the OCU. F-16 is very easy to fly, employing it in different missions is what makes it challenging.
