What's new

This picture is very powerful message to the terrorists!!

Balochistan concerns regarding the exploitation and the most deprived province is genuine. A political dialogue and not through military high handedness can solve the problems.

Looking at the current mess which the military has created in the country, the Balochistan situation can be gauged, the killings, custodial torture will lead to more uprising and more resilience. Dirty Harry was posted in Balochistan, the 'occupational force' optics need to end, the enemy is making use of this upheavel.

It is disheartening know that after 60 years only 14 towns out of 34 Balochistan districts have access to natural gas.

Even Sui town, which is only four miles from the gas field, where around 800mmscf natural gas is produced daily from 87 completed wells, itself does not have natural gas.

Genuine grievances of everyone should be addressed including people of Balochistan

Terrorists of BLA/BLF should be ruthlessly pursued and eliminated daily and regularly

This is the only policy that can work. All other is just words and nonsense

A famous general once said (one that was a proper soldier and won wars)

The shahadat fetish of this quom and the resultant cashing in on of it by thugs like these two in the picture and their predecessors is why we are in this mess today. Keep the masses teary eyed and supporting us.

Khalid ibn Walid R.A. didn't need to be a pall bearer to lift morale. He did his job so that that were as few palls to bear. Won't this boost the TTP's morale as well? Look where we have them?

How about we celebrate the killing of a bunch of terrorists instead of the loss of our own sons?

cool beans. Nobody cares. The question is what the fck are we doing about it?

More than 28 hours have passed since this incident

Not a single report of death of even BLA/BLF terrorist getting killed in any operation

What a weak joke of a state this is!!

Anyway, political parties must clear that one must protest and raising arms mean rebellion.
The women who attacked the Confucious centre was a terrorist, and these will be if they use weapons.

They have legitimate concerns though
Help: Any idea how can we share just video but not tweet?

Planned anarchy, foreign plan to Balkanize Pakistan is in full gear. This time enemy starred with neutralizing the neutrals first. Army brass and intelligence is fully compromised.

This picture is very powerful message to the terrorists, this shows resilience and commitment of Senior Army Command towards elimination of this monster of terrorism.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir are carrying the coffin of Capt Fahad shaheed to bury him with full honours.

A large number of senior civil and military officers, soldiers, citizens and relatives of shaheed also attended the Namaz e Janaza. Shaheed was buried with full military honour.
CJCSC not wearing belt.

On Topic, the less coffins we have to carry, the better.

This is my opinion on it, I think it’s cuz Taliban are being pressured to act on TTP and Taliban are pressuring TTP to leave Afghanistan and have its own territory instead. TTP is trying to carve out some territory for it self in tribal areas with the material support of certain Taliban factions (even full support of some TB commanders) and our peace talks gave them a perfect opportunity to enter Pakistan in the guise of ceasefire and create cells here. There is many indicators that such can be true with the latest being the Bannu hostage situation. The terrorists inside asked to be airlifted to Afghanistan but TTP said they meant Waziristan and made excuses for them saying Afghanistan. Also TTP has reiterated many times that it’s based in Pakistan and doesn’t operate in Afghanistan. This seems very odd especially for an organization like TTP which doesn’t even recognize borders especially with Afghanistan. Taliban have also many times said TTP has no safe heavens in Afghanistan (even tho we know they’re lying). TTP recently this year also issued an order banning any foreign non Pakistani terrorist from joining their terrorist organization. Their trying very hard to make it seem as only Pakistan based and they been saying to multiple news outlets that their war is only with Pakistan forces. We seen many ttp commanders and afghan TB commanders who sheltered ttp get assassinated since Taliban took over Afghanistan. A common trend in that was they were usually not as close to Taliban or seen as hardliners. It seemed as if they were cleansing the group from hardliners and people who Taliban can’t control. Also Talibans selling out of Zawahiri and them killing foreign fighters of AQ, Jaish ul Adl and Uyghur fighters while banning Hizb Tahir and assassinating their leader shows that Taliban want to only be in control of Afghanistan and no want foreigners out especially if they can’t be controlled. This also many have sent alarm bells to TTP.
Taliban are pressuring TTP to carve its own territory in Pakistan and leave Afghanistan while TTP seems to see Taliban as not as trustworthy as they thought it was.
The recent spike in TTP attacks could be their attempt to carve out safe heavens in Pakistan and especially their struggle to expand into Balochistan shows they want safe havens in Pakistan. They might be betting on a big spike in violence to force the state into another ceasefire to further strengthen their positions. They’ve already massively expanded and regrouped under the last ceasefire. They might be betting on a massive operation like Zarb e Azb not happening but instead smaller levels ops to happen which won’t cause them as much harm.
Imo, TTP is thinking about long term right now and trying to build its base in Pakistan and trying to be less dependent on Afghanistan.

Taliban in pursuit of international recognition and aid might be doing this.

This is just my opinion on it.

Nice analysis brudda, my only questions are these:

1. TTP tends to switch their goals and motto. In the beginning after Taliban takeover I remember Noor Maseed doing an interview with CNN and he said he wanted "independent FATA from Punjab" playing on a nationalist Pashtunistan rhetoric.

Then, during negotiations it turns out TTP wants shariah law all over Pakistan. On social media we see a lot of TTP guys playing on Loy Afghanistan, giving it an Afghan nationalist flavor.

So which one truly is it? Shariah law over Pakistan, Independent FATA, or Loy Afghanistan?

2. Can it be said that the IEA is simply playing a double game with Pakistan? I mean it is easy to just out TTP like how the outed AQ Zawahiri.

3. In the event of a wide scale military operation against TTP, will Afghan Taliban remain "neutral" like how Ashraf Ghani's was?

Or will they actively aid and help TTP in that event?

Whichever one gets them territory under their control.
TTP before Noor Wali was about Shariah law in Pakistan but Noor Wali also made TTP more appealing to etho nationalists.
It depends on who they’re dealing with. TTP media still uses Urdu and speaks about all of Pakistan. TTP in AFG or when facing india or etho nationalists would tow the Loy Afghanistan and separatist stance to get their support.
TTP in front of Pakistanis and other groups would tow the narrative of Shariah to get their support.
Overall, openly TTP is still about Shariah law in all of Pakistan and not separatist. However TTP would do anything and ally with anyone to carve their own territory out of Pakistan.
2. Can it be said that the IEA is simply playing a double game with Pakistan? I mean it is easy to just out TTP like how the outed AQ Zawahiri.
AQ was already flirting with ISKP in Afghanistan. Many foreign AQ fighters in AFG were already basically ISKP. Also AQ doesn’t have the strength to challenge Taliban in Afghanistan. TTP and Pakistani Pashtun fighters make up a big part of Taliban in Afghanistan and control whole provinces/areas. Taliban can’t afford TTP joining ISKP in Afghanistan cuz TTP would take many provinces with them. Taliban already having trouble controlling Nangarhar. Kunar which is still relatively peaceful and with lots of TTP is majority salafi. If they are pushed to the edge they’ll take the whole province with them and turn against Taliban.
Also Taliban expected Pakistan to recognize them once they took power. Pakistan didn’t. Taliban didn’t like us not recognizing them. Imran Khan messed up with his policy on Taliban cuz he went soft on them but didn’t recognize them. Either go hard or recognize them, don’t stay on the edge and be on no sides. Many Taliban factions and commanders have ties to TTP factions and commanders which they wouldn’t break that easily.
But we also have our allies amongst Taliban.
We shouldn’t expect any real action from Taliban as a whole against TTP. Best that could happen is we get some factions to pressure some ttp factions. That’s all.
3. In the event of a wide scale military operation against TTP, will Afghan Taliban remain "neutral" like how Ashraf Ghani's was?
Afghan Taliban as a whole? Yes.
But some factions and commanders of AFG Taliban will support some TTP and some will support us.

We need to remember TTP and Afghan Taliban are both umbrella organizations. They have many factions with different interests and backers which make these organizations.
Or will they actively aid and help TTP in that event?
They will never openly help TTP.
They will never openly be against TTP.
Openly they will just be neutral and say it’s Pakistan and TTP internal matter.
But many Taliban factions would support TTP and many pro pak factions will assassinate TTP and their aiders.

Solution is Pakistan needs to start conscription and prepare the people for a multi front war against India and its proxies. Start with Kashmir and Baluchistan then NWP and then Sindh and Punjab with 5 year cycles of training and fighting on front lines; the terrorists have been given sophisticated arms and training and we know by whom, have crossed all civilized boundaries and emboldened to declared war. Indians since 2013 had been stating that they were going to increase terrorism in Pakistan and while they were in Afghanistan they were arming and training terrorists whilst the US turned a blind eye. It is a concerted attack on Pakistan and well planned we are being attacked economically, militarily and politically. We are losing in the propaganda war as we have been unable to sway the minds of the TTP. The corrupt Mullahs who are in the pockets of India will give us a big headache unless Pakistan acts now and stamps them out. The TTP and Baluch terroshits should have been heavily infiltrated, monitored and eliminated. Pakistan army's biggest mistake was not to divert the disgruntled Mullahs to India and other Islamic hotspot disputes and keep them busy and distracted. But alas Pakistan fell for the colonial trap of divide and rule, Muslims have been divided through corrupt Mullahs who kill for dollars
Conscription is actually how armies become unprofessional. There is ample documented evidence for this.

What is needed however is a citizens reserve at federal, prorvincial and UC level with limited powers under PPC and integration within the local law enforcement set-up.

A good example would be similar to how “special constables “ were appointed during times of war also known as Razakar reserves.

And a foreign legion.
Nowadays everyone is high cuz they’re angry about political matters of the country but normally ask any over seas Pakistani and they will be even more patriotic than Pakistanis in Pakistan. Overseas Pakistanis don’t even need pay and they can cover the cost of training them self. A foreign legion for overseas Pakistanis to serve as reservists is needed. This shouldn’t only be restricted to fighting as we can help in many domains like Cyber warfare and help with finances or help arrange supplies in event of war.

@Jango @Signalian remwmbwr what I said about “distraction strike” in Balochistan in the other thread?

A question to all the would be analysts here… where would a wise man hide a leaf? …. Answer: in a forest.

So much disinformation and misinformation around, if nothing else all the young people of Pakistan should take 10 minutes and stop looking at memes and consider how to use social media to counter enemy narratives.

We have some reasonably educated members on PDF, let’s use that as a platform to have members from PDF to create twitter handles and a discord or section to post collated misinformation and develop a repository of information and counter arguments.

Curated tweets to counter the narrative. It’s very much doable. 😊

Problem is sir, the moment a dual national joins such a force their nationality in their second home would be at risk. Israel is an exception to this rule.

This article sums up on how we reached this stage, the mess is solely on the incompetence of the brass, they allowed TTP to regroup without assurances.

I have tried finding out the reason of the Gwadar protests, but it's a hodgepodge of information right now.

What do you think is the issue?
