CIA/Indian/Afghan Involvement in WoT in Pakistan

We Pakistanis need to be quick on whats happening around us. This article has just been posted last week and just 3 weeks ago, a non-pakistani and I were chatting and he told me Pakistanis in general have no idea whats happening in their western border there's many foreign agents involved creating problems in our western provinces, and if you think India is only in our eastern borders think again they are in our western borders in Afghanistan causing 95% of our problems.

:) If US has been forced to run away from Iraq with its tail between the legs, it wont be much difficult to make her run from our tribal areas.

The air might is not going to make US capture Pakistan that easily while on grounds she is going to suffer more.

They are slowly leaving Iraq, but not before destroying the entire system of the country.

Iraq is now reduced to gunmen, who can never fight US once they are gone.

.
Undoubtedly it will, though count on China being kept far away from any conflict. If indeed Iran and Pakistan are on the same radar then I will use a memorable quote from a certain someone,

"Bring it on".

Realistically our enemies are pushing for a limited yet damaging war between US and Pak.

US is not for a war with Pak.

It wants more value for money by getting the terrorists killed.

If they wanted war, they would have done it long time back.

.
If value is what concerned persons want - then they may want ot examine the record - the US has now spent in excess of $$100 billion in Afghanistan, one may ask what value have concerned persons gotten - if a comparison is made about the number of AQ captured or killed, clearly Pakistan has delivered outstanding value, however; the question remains why after $$100 billion has US not been able to match the pakistani effort.

For those who merely mouth psyops PR and refuse to engage critically, such questions are irrelevant.

Ignorant, uncalled for, shameless outburst. It's not who are and what we aspire to be.:guns::sniper:

I keep reading such posts and they are beyond understanding, really.

Did Pakistan catch the AQ guys for USA, not for itself and its own security?
They don't pose any challenges to your own society? What were they doing in Pakistan in the first place? Why should you get money for catching terrorists in your own country?

Strange logic!

Well you need to ask why US had created them in first place???

 Why US pays in the first place. Its 2 years old kid thats why i guess.

And as muse has pointed out despite spending more and more in Aghanistan and Iraq what US has achieved so far.

Nothing indeed.

Failing in Afghanistan/Iraq well blam Pakistan its more easy to do that ;)

Money isnt only for catching AQ operatives, instead for the logistic support that Pakistan provides them. So first this thing needs to be cleared out. Secondly in Musharraf's era, we did tell the US that if it wants to stop the aid, it is more then welcome to do so, Pakistan does not need aid, we need trade.
Obviously with Musharraf gone, and the new government opening its mouth loud and wide, the above does not hold to be true anymore. Sad but true.

As far as your questions are concerned, they are not valid in a sense, that Pakistan has never said that we are capturing AQ operatives for the US alone, however its the US that always attach the Aid with the operations that we do and finally come out with the statement that Pakistan has not done enough and the aid is wasted. So my point is that US is comparing AID to actions against terrorists not us.

You are such an oracle ! When has the west blamed your for Iraq ? Why not first clean your own backyard before blaming the West ?

BTW please also post articles from Khurram region as there are nearly 20-50 people killed everyday in tribal clashes for the last one year. Is that not genocide as bad as gujarat ? I know you are more interested in posting false reports on about US / NATO soldiers raping the lady Doctor, than as a journalist enlightening us about Khurram. Start a thread on that and I will believe you till then put your money where ur mouth is.(its an idiom)

Warm Regards

This makes sense.

So if you are saying that they are just paying for logistics then the original comment about the comparision with the other campaigns or value for money (for the AQ operatives caught) don't hold any water.

This "value for money" business is thrown about by too many and always manages to surprise one!

:flame:

lolzzz after humiliating pull out from Iraq US/NATO are desperate for face saving indeed.

7, 8 years on what US has achieved just let me know.

AS far as Kurram first of all it is our internal matter and has nothing to do with War on Terror

But still if you have are so pained well both the tribes are Muslims and killing each other. They are not killing Hindus there unlike Gujrat where the Indian government was a party to kill Muslims and now in case of Christians' killing the BJP government is party to kill them.

The more painful thing is your puppet Karazi and his army is involved in Kurram clash too.

AS far as Dr Afia case is concerned even blinds who have some conscience can see how much she was brutaly tortured by your brave US/NATO soldiers.
She was shot twice in chest it was also acknowledge by US soldiers.
Her nose had been broken.
He 3 minor kids were kept in illegal custody in Afghanistan by your brave civilized soldiers.

But indeed some are blinds by eyes some by conscience.

Another Terrorist Attack in Pakistan by U.S and India

At least 60 people were killed and scores others injured when an explosives laden vehicle was blown up at the entrance of Marriot Hotel here on Saturday.

Those killed include five women. 257 wounded, some of them critically were shifted to the local hospitals after the deadly explosion. The death toll is feared to rise further.

The powerful explosion caused fire in many parts of the hotel besides shattering the windowpanes of the buildings around the hotel.

According to details, a small vehicle broke through the security barrier outside the hotel before an explosives laden dumper truck was struck with the hotel causing a huge explosion.

The cowardly terrorist act of attack on innocent people is one of the series we are wittessing these days from Tribal areas to Islamabad. The timing of this attack is when President Zardari announced major steps in fight against terrorists. The elements involved in these terrorists acts inside Pakistan are being trained and financed by CIA and India's RAW in Afghanistan headed by former Guantanamo Bay detainess Baitullah Mahsud who is presently working closely with Indian backed Northern Aliiance in Afghanista.

Despite repeated informations provided to US and NATO force about exect location of Baitullah Mahsud and his gang by Pakistani agencies, no action has been taken against him by US. This reflects the true intentions of USA in name of war on terror. The sole purpose of American lead war on terror seems to take control of “FATA’ region along with Afghanistan and Baluchistan for future energy route from Central Asia and also to contain China.

For this purpose, once again religious extremists are being used as in previous Afghan war against Soviet Union with active support of Indian RAW to destablise Pakistan. We, the citizens of Pakistan condemn these cowerdly acts and demand from government to respond by all means, military and diplomatic to defeat the conspiracy against Pakistan.

MIRANSHAH, Pakistan (Reuters) - Pakistani villagers collected the corpses and body parts Saturday of at least 20 people, including several suspected Arab militants as well as three children, killed by a U.S. missile strike overnight.

A pilotless drone aircraft launched the attack late on Friday, targeting a tribesman's house in Mohammad Khel, a village, 30 km (20 miles) west of Miranshah in North Waziristan, a known sanctuary of al Qaeda and Taliban militants close to the Afghan border.

Villagers combed the wreckage at daybreak, looking for survivors and bodies to be buried.

"We found body parts scattered all over the place in the ruins, someone's hand, someone's leg," Bakht Ali, one of the villagers, told Reuters.

An intelligence official based in the region said a woman and three children were among those killed.

"We now have a figure of 20 dead. That includes eight residents of the house, five other locals and seven foreigners," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject.

The foreigners appeared to be Arabs, although their nationalities were unknown, he said.

There were no indications that any of those killed were regarded by U.S. counterterrorism agencies as top tier al Qaeda targets, sources said.

The News newspaper reported that the strike was carried out based on information that the foreigners had been invited to a feast by pro-Taliban tribesmen following the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.

An army spokesman said there had been an explosion in the area, but was unable to confirm the cause.

SHOOTING AT DRONE

Faced with an intensifying Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan, U.S. forces in the past month have carried out eight missile strikes by pilotless drones and a commando raid on the Pakistani side of the border.

Tribesmen in Mir Ali, a town 25 km east of Miranshah, fired at a U.S. drone Saturday before it turned away. A U.S. missile attack on Mir Ali killed five people, including foreign militants, Wednesday.

The airstrikes, and the first-ever use of ground troops, have strained relations between the allies.

The Pakistani government has protested that the attacks violated territorial sovereignty and undermined its own long-term efforts to crush militancy in a country where anti-American sentiment runs high.

The Pakistan army is currently fighting fierce battles against militants in Bajaur, at the north east extreme of the tribal belt, and Swat, an alpine valley in a more settled region close to the tribal lands.

In some places, ethnic Pashtun tribesmen have banded together with encouragement from the authorities to oppose the militants, whom the tribes blame for bringing violence to their region.

A traditional meeting or "jirga" of tribal elders in Mamound, a militant stronghold in Bajaur, decided Saturday to form a "lashkar" or a tribal force to initiate action against militants in their area, a resident said.

More than 1,000 militants have been killed in the fighting with security forces in Bajaur and Swat since August.

Yet, Pakistani assertions that it is doing its utmost to contain militants have done little to appease U.S. concerns.

Earlier Friday, Pakistani intelligence officials reported another U.S. airstrike on the North Waziristan village of Datta Khel, but a military spokesman said it was on the Afghan side of the border and no intrusion took place into Pakistani territory.

U.S. commanders have spoken of respect for Pakistan's sovereignty but have suggested they will not stop cross-border strikes on militants.
