How about i tell you, that the son of one of the senior commissioner in Ahmadabad at the time, was my batch mate in UK? And we were pretty good friends, and he described the horror he saw in front of his eyes. According to his dad, that he revealed it to me-a Pakistani, the number of people killed were in thousands, not hundreds, and his dad was warned of his job security, if he revealed the state complacency to media or other outlets.

Police were given specific orders on not to do anything. Muslims running for help to police, were told by police 'Ajj tau tumko koi nahi bacha sakta, humko tau orders hee nahi hai tumhey bachaney keh liye' translation 'Today no one can save you, we don't have orders to save you'

No Pakistani here appears willing to organize politically to demand justice be served to the perpetrators of this deed. Why not? Is the victim always at fault? Pakistani society has no power , like Americans enjoy in their country , Backed by your police and Govt forces ... today you make stand on something sensitive tomorrow your name was out , from the so called govt and law enforcement agencies , and day after tomorrow you'd be dead .....

Don't you ever wonder how America made the transition from colonial rule to democratic governance? People organized as needed and didn't consult the purported powers-that-be. If your current governing structure is useless you need a new one to supplement or supersede it. So the colonies - especially in New England - established councils and assemblies to build public works and provide for defense and spent their own money to do it. It's not like the King was going to lift a finger beyond collecting his own shillings or keeping the French out.

Fantasy, isn't it? Your elected officials can't even command the Army to protect you - more accurately, they can't order the removal of officers who choose to refuse to protect you. And if they did have that power - given that this is Pakistan - they'd surely abuse it, right? You need to organize in a way people can keep an eye on officials and their decisions. It's the basic difference between subjects and citizens. Why not start like the MQM did - in a dormitory - but with a democratic accountability that the MQM never had?

now what peoples cant do if Govt has no power and even if they had, they misuse it .... peoples protest , look at the streets of Islamabad , from last 60+ days peoples are sitting their , doing what ?? and now see how many public at every Gathering at PTI in different cities ... not all are out for a change ... why ?? because peoples minds are so fcuked up that they cant even think what is good and what is bad for them... have a look at our reactions on any Bomb blast in Pakistan .. what happen ?? nothing ...
Govt officials do have the power to control at least police ... but how we can change the gen of Pakistani peoples who are born with abilities to cheat , dis sincerity , and dishonesty ??? was that because of islam ?? no .....

Pakistan Problem is more big than a person living in USA can even dreamed of ..... the day you put your feet in Pakistan you will start to realize it ... the collective problems are put a side , our country is facing other issues ... every person is part of problem but not the part of solution ...
