Since VW is government owned, they will select what the German government oders them what to select.
In the west this games was a non issue.
Will be interesting to see if the IOC can turn the downward spiral by hosting the games in Paris and Milano and brng them back to the democratic world. Giving the games to bavkward, autocratic dictatorships doesnt gain profits in the west. Infact companies over here had to openly distance themself from these games to not get negative press.
