Old news....the Chinese troops ARE and HAVE BEEN in Pakistan. Anyone surprised? I am not, this was a logical next step to protect some of their assets that they plan on keeping in Gawader, as well as build some facilitates. The US is in Afghanistan for a reason and primarily its to ensure that the Chinese know we are there. However, this has nothing to do with India, but I bet you, the Indian members on here, will make it sound like it (like the drama we see on every other post)



I don't know what strategy you study and what developments you follow. But your post has no sense to it. The Chinese troops have already been in Pakistan for a while now. Who is constructing the Naval base and other facilities around Gawader and a couple of other areas alongside the CPEC?? Why do you think Modi had a Cow for like two months mid last year (many statements can be tracked online on this topic from Modi and Doval on how it was the most critical to stop the CPEC). The Chinese gave a serious shut up call to India and shut up it was......

Why would Chinese Soldiers need to deploy

It's not question of actual need. It is more of what presence of Chinese troops conveys:-

(i) It secures Chinese investors concerns and is manifestation of strategic alliance.
(ii) It tells the world that China has faith in Pakistan and that it is within the Chinese orbit.
(iii) It really puts money where the mouth is in that with Chinese soldiers there no external country would intrude lest it get tangled with China.

This can be seen how many East European countries try to get US to set up military bases in their countries as that sens a message that they are part of the Western order. In the same way Chinese military presence would be symbolic of the strategic nature of Pak/China alliance. When a country openly accepts the soldiers from a friendly country it really underscores the close relationship. It shows those countries are so close that they are comfortable in housing foreign soldiers.

It's bullshit news. Chinese troops won't be going into Pakistan, there is little reason for this to happen.

As for the US, the last thing the Americans want is a destabilized Pakistan, which would be a nightmare scenario for them.

There are no massive protests, and no brutal crackdown. The Azad Kashmir government is against it, but only in principle, and the GB has been demanding that it be declared a province for decades. In fact, the only protests that I've ever noticed is when the central government keeps delaying it's decision on the region, due to pressure from Azad Kashmir.

Yup, just like India wants a footprint inside Afghanistan too, and that for no reason whatsoever, outside of Pakistan.

You can't do 2+2? The Afghans didn't invite the Russians. That was a WAR, the Russians wanted to get to the "WARM Waters", exactly to Gawader actually as they then wanted to link up to Iran, or go into Iran (whichever one would have worked out). But they were stopped and obviously broken into pieces. History is a bit*ch if you care to remember the facts.

On the other hand, the Pakistanis didn't invite the Chinese with 200 Gunships and 250 Fighter / Bombers for war. They are there strategically and to secure certain facilities they have and are building. You won't see a Chinese tank contingent riding on the streets, the thought of which is pretty stupid.

The US will be using Indian bases soon. Should I say that this is going to be like the East India company again? They'll take over India from the fanatics ruling it and will really provide freedom to the entire Indian nation? (I like the sound of it). Over 300 million Indians will actually have freedom and the 700 other ones, won't kill the minorities. Everyone can live happily and without the extremism the Indian minorities deal with, delivered by their very own, uncle Sam. Freedom for all in India.


Like I've said before, use common sense and don't do propaganda. When you write crap, be ready to take some back too.

Pakistan knows how to protect its land and we will protect it no matter how giant this rat present herself.
