There is no need to sell to india ...

I think China plans to give the bomb to india free of charge.

Jokes apart, A thormobaric bomb like other WMDs is a very unhuman way to kill other humans.

Hand to hand combat must be revived.

The deal with thermo bombs is their size and destructive power. For example, if you take a 10 tonnes MOAB (which can deliver the suggested 300 mts radius blast, you need an aircraft which will deliver that.

And Aeronaut, don't you think it makes more sense to use the CBU 97 types weapons against armoured columns than using thermo?

It is a matter of choice. The unexploded bomblets from a CBU bomb is a potential hazard for civilian population (note - Vietnam) or the occupying force. The thermobaric bomb on the other hand is a bomb which releases a cloud of explosive material and then igniting it causing splash damage followed by a powerful blast wave of a significantly longer duration than traditional condensed explosives. The heat and power of the blast will have a much greater impact to structures and the most armored of columns.
If the user intends cause extensive damage to enemy structures or to wipe out and clear a passage, the thermobaric bomb would be the ideal weapon of choice, it saves sending in the bomb disposal units afterwards.

Sensor Fused Weapon like the one India just bought from the US, is built such that bomblets/sub munition which fail to find a target and simply fall down on the ground detonate automatically so as not to cause hazard to civilian population.

Only if it works as intended. However, like other condensed explosives that are out there. The impact and splash damage would not be as great when compared to one caused by a thermobaric bomb. The heat and the longer duration of the blast from a larger concentrated source will likely have a greater impact than those of tiny bomblets.

Is it a coincidence that these Chinese firecrackers have been advertised on Diwali, or are these market penetration techniques, to give competition to our Sivakasi fireworks? If not, what's the purpose of this mind-bogglingly dumb thread?

Do these come at a Diwali special price?

So who wants to try the thermobaric bomb against India and get wiped out in return :D:D
You are threatening to wipe out your neighbors Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka because they want to defend themselves against Indian aggression? You are so evil.

Unfortunately for India, you only have small atomic weapons, no thermonuclear weapons. You don't even have thermobaric bombs. Armed with our thermobaric bombs, even Bangladesh and Sri Lanka can send India back to the stone age!

These thermobaric weapons work by sucking out all the air in a massive inferno. Human being get crushed into a pancake. Now India can dream no more about your "cold start."

China advertises a 250 kg thermobaric bomb dropped by JF-17. Now all of South Asia can respond to Indian bullying with a swift and deadly response :)
Idiotic comment! Your ignorance is supreme! And it seems you got an orgasm pretty soon without knowing the facts! We've got an arsenal of such bombs since 2010 from Israel. Enough to send the PLA up in smoke in Tibet! :azn:

Cheers!

I think Hongwu only to attract peoples eyes by "(except India)", the coms will sell it to India if Indian want

Its, not a nuke. Thermobaric weapons are highly effective against, invading enemy armor and infantry. It becomes even more important in Indian cold start scenario. These warheads don't explode and cause material damage much, rather they explode mid air, consume the oxygen in a given area, starving every living creature in that area off oxygen, therefore they all die out of internal wounds.

Pakistan already has thermobaric warheads.
India has thermobaric warheads for more than 10 years.:)

Several countries, including the United States, China, India and Russia, have a variety of thermobaric weapons in their arsenals. They were initially developed in the late 1960s. Russian thermobaric weapons are now third-generation.

Here is another report by CBS News which states India has Thermobaric bombs:
