If you mean underground electric cables, then yes..All new townships and suburbs like Faridabad, Greater Noida, Noida (to name a few in North India) have all underground cabling for electricity, phones etc..

All the existing cities cant develop fast enough due to land rights issues.

This city is an artificial solution to bridge the gap between growth and infrastructure growth. whilst Land is acquired and development goes.
ahead in the rest of the cites. By that i am talking about Underground power lines Central cooling systems. Faster Internet lines and better roads

Sky scarpers and the such will still start to pop up this decade in India.
In all major cities. But what they will do with horrid roads.

Of course new districts and specific urban area's have it.

But its not standard everywhere yet.

Most cites already have permission to start installing underground cables. But for reasons unknown they have not begun to do so, on a massive scale.

The city i come from Viskhapatnam in AP, they have dug up the area's to install the cables but have not done so yet. Until then there are big gaping ditches next to some roads(which they newly repaved and then ruined by digging those ditches ).

but even a plan about indian development creates envy in pakistan.....man.....

Of course it will provoke envy. How you guys seen what China has done to Tibet? Why only in the border town All Indians should be envious. But that does not mean we have doubts about which nation we belong to.

coz its the Tibetans who are being executed whereas the hans are flourishing there more and more...!!!!!
