According to your logic, Confucious(孔子was the son of a great-being, not he was the great being. So you people are promoting the wrong person according to you.

No Hong Kongese refer to themselves as Chinese(中國人because Chinese(中國人
in Hon Kong context means mainlander, and being called a mainlander is an insult in Hong Kong.
You know absolutely nothing about Hong Kong. We call ourselves 中國人 all the time.
中國人 does NOT mean mainlander, I have no idea where you got such an idea from. Your "Hanja" is poor.
中国人 is PRC national. Hong Kongers have "People's Republic of China" written in bold, silver letters on their black passport.
Back to the topic, Prefessor Kong was a bit rude for labelling people as dog, but some Hong Kongers definitely need some national pride and stop being rude to their Mainland brothers.
It is the New Year, national unity is the most important thing.
I condemn any Hong Kong person who is rude to our mainland brothers for no reason.
But some people are rude anyway, to everyone. These people are best ignored.
“They stand like this,” says the 56-year-old restaurateur, hands on hips, adding a scowl to her performance. “They’re sooo annoying. Just because they come from the capital, they act like they’re running the country.”
The antipathy is mutual. “Shanghai people are selfish,” retorts Ge Ding, a 28-year-old Beijing-born teacher who moved to Shanghai for work in 2001. “Even the people my age, all they talk about are material things, their clothes, the stock market. All they care for is themselves and money.”
The trash talk between the natives of Beijing and Shanghai has been going on for decades, with the rest of China ducking the crossfire.
In China, it is the great rivalry, similar in some ways to New York versus Los Angeles. The dynamic is a powerful undercurrent in Chinese politics and culture.

even on all Chinese websites and bbs thousands of Beijingers and Shanghainese are cursing and throwing insults against each other all day every day as if that is their full time job,if India even touch anywhere in China,we are the first group of Chinese people that will tear India apart.
