China is no less. You have military and economic partnerships with India. Joint military training, and joint economic projects like banks, trades etc.

Sadly we have no money otherwise western military imports would have been better. We are stuck with Chinese while India gets better western technology.

E.U/ U.S/ Russia willing to sell weapons to both sides, whatever ur ppl like or dislike and whatever Pakistan rich or not. Nothing can stop India buying weapons from the West and Russia.

Most Pakistanis are blinded. They dont see where we are headed. Everything in Pakistan is being built by China. We have no other options, no competitive selections for contracts. All our infrastructure, military etc are being filled by Chinese quality stuff. Gone are those days of F-16 imports, gone are those days of European quality imports. Nowadays we have to be happy with Chinese stuff.

Just because we get them cheap does not mean we sell our nation to them. They will play their cards with Indians too. I would like my fellow Pakistanis to see this. Just see the business between China and India. If they were our true allies, they would sanction India.

Forget about Iran, India is building a port for them.

Well, essentially, great powers do not engage in lord of the rings style brotherhoods because their interests overlap with more than a few geographies or regimes. In this case, China will surely develop relations with both Pakistan and India; it is simply stupid to close down one side for the sake of the other.

International politics is neither a charity nor involves altruistic moral concerns.

I am for good relations and deeper economic cooperation with India. Why not, they need investment, and China needs to invest to explore additional markets in order to complete the economic transition.

Terms like friend, brother and others are just too gross for IR.
