Chinese President Xi Skips Protocol, Gives PM Narendra Modi 'Highest-Level Reception' in His Hometow

All what I'm saying are mere facts /truth which many people don't want to listen on here. It's not like I'm inventing something new, all of these can be clearly seen if one takes time to read/study and observe what is going on around the world. So I'm merely stating fact,/making obvious observations coupled with the fact that i studied international relations at uni, which gave me a more deeper knowledge about how geo politics works (with all the dirty back deals that goes with it). No country /power is innocent /saint as far as I knew, so yes nothing is black and white, there's always something deeper /hidden behind the curtain. Afterall, you can't be a politician unless you are a very good liar /hypocrite. :p: and yes politics is indeed a dirty game, nobody can be called a saint /innocent ones they start getting involved in politics /geo politics, not even his 'holiness 'the Dalai Lama.

You are a Marxist by heart.

Like the Frankfurt School says, every theory is for someone and for some purpose.

lol never betrayed north korea.

china gives north korea the middle finger by trading with south korea on a record level

china gives a **** about anyone beside themselfs.

Previously a Chinese commentator on this thread advocated the conjecture how Russians are renowned for rational logical thought processes, so please read more history on the political relationship between China and North Korea. In 1956 Kim Jung Sung II purged the Yan'an faction, which had close ties to Chairman Mao and effectively it was an act of betrayal. China only started to trade with South Korea after the Open Door Policy was initiated in 1978, therefore North Korea betrayed China 22 years ago, before the idea of economic trade existed. Chinese foreign policy on economic trade can be summarized by Deng Xiaoping "It does not matter, if a cat is black or mice as long as it catches mice". This is one of the main reasons why a number of people in China say "That Chairman Mao provided revolution and independence of China from Imperial powers, while Deng Xiaoping provided food on the table". A person only needs to travel to the city of Dangdong, which I had the pleasure to visit in 2011 where opposite the river stream is North Korea. The electricity produced in the North Korean city is provided by the Chinese government. So stop pointing fingers at China and blaming it for the misfortunes of North Korea.

Nothing can stop India buying weapons from the West and Russia.

Actually, we want to reverse that trend. We want to make stuff by designing it here and then export it; Not just weapons but user technology for civilians as well.

Sadly due to a treacherous system for 5 decades, we have been tied down for something we should have done in the 70s itself. This is where I personally admire Chinese for going out of the way to lay down infrastructure for manufacturing. Starting with simple things like utensils, cups, bags and consumer goods, today you have created a huge ecosystem which is very admirable.

Personally, I see China, Korea, India and Japan together in the future, setting aside all their differences and working towards a better world, especially for fellow developing countries. We may have disagreements but they will not be harming our mutual understanding and trust with each of us.

Has any Pakistani leader received such reception in China?
Pakistani leaders visit China every other week.. But it hardly makes any news.

Too much pomp, kinda like welcoming an unknown person of high station. With Pakistan, such ceremony isnt needed.

Is a ceremony needed when your friend comes over?

Japan doesnot see the world as India does, you guys actually knows little about Japanese. The dreaming goal for Japan is:be the Asian police and help the USA to rule Asia, never changllege USA and suppress China. As for India? you are not their qualified opponent at all. In Japanese view, the top five countries are USA, GERMANY,UK,FRANCE and JAPAN, they feel ashamed to stay beside us in their deep heart, that is why I don't care about the ally between Japan and India, since the Japanese would never admire India and became a true friend of India. In this world, the closest race and culture for Japan are China and Korea ,but they hate Japan the deepest in this world, you can see how good for Japan to make friends,Japan never has true friend.

No country has 'true friends ' . Not even your China. :D

Not really a Marxist. But one thing i do agree with Karl Marx is that :religion can be an opium indeed to the masses if not properly handled. The Middle East sure is a tastament to that. :chilli::astagh:

According to your logic then is a ceremony required for your friend's foe !

China and India signed deals worth more than $22 billion in areas including renewable energy, ports, financing and industrial parks, an Indian embassy official said on Saturday.

Namgya C. Khampa, of the Indian Embassy in Beijing, made the remarks at the end of a three-day visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which he sought to boost economic ties and quell anxiety over a border dispute between the neighbours.

"The agreements have a bilateral commercial engagement in sectors like renewable energy, industrial parks, power, steel, logistics finance and media and entertainment," Khampa said.
China is interested in more opportunities in India's $2 trillion economy.

During a visit to India last year by Chinese President Xi Jinping, China announced $20 billion in investments over five years, including setting up two industrial parks.

Since then, progress has been slow, in part because of the difficulties Modi has had in getting political approval for easier land acquisition laws.
