He was expected to come in may.
And carona happened.
Many things happened that pleased china a lot and they have done many things to please us a lot.
1. China agrees to built dams in kashmir and diamer, before there was reluctance but now they are in full swing and are not loans but boot model...
2. Pakistan has made a new map that has helped china a lot. They have been insistang on it.
3. pakistan support for china in india/china conflict and fhe new map keep the line of ladakh with china means pakistan and china would solve the issue once they conqured.
4. Pakistan only country that at the peak of carona send their president, keep their students in china and shows infinite support to the chinese.
5. What could be more bigger and stretegic project of cpec then ml1. All projects of cpec to date on one side, single ml1 on one side. It took two years for government to clear all modailities work out procedures, studies and design. And now we see the day when it would start. And chinese premier would be visiting for that.
5. The zones are ready to inaugurated.
Rashkai and punjab zones are given electricity. Work in full swing.
Even sindh allowed federal government to proceed with their zones.
6. Thar block 2 started.
7. Gawader airport and powerplant under construction. Amd desalination plant. Its master plan can be unveiled by chinese pm.

8. To discuss kashmir now. Chinese like it or not. We have specially dragged them into kashmir conflict. And now they are part of it. They showed india agression because of indian calims of conquring Pakistan.

SCMP is not controlled by the state. It is a Hong Kong newspaper. A state controlled outlet would be something like the People's Daily or Global Times.

People's daily is China official channel which can present the China government stance.

But Global Times is something different, it has a lot more freedom and influenced by the hardliners.

August 7, 2020 (MLN): Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to visit Pakistan later this year, as reported by Bloomberg.

At the webinar in Islamabad, China’s ambassador Yao Jing said “We are talking about” extending the flagship Belt and Road program to Afghanistan, Bloomberg reported.

To recall, Xi’s visit in 2015 spurred Belt and Road projects in Pakistan known as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) valued at more than $70 billion.

According to sources, Chinese President Xi Jinping is likely to visit Pakistan next month.

Sources said that the Chinese President will pay a high-level visit to Pakistan. Important issues including CPEC will be discussed during the visit.

The Chinese President will hold important meetings with the Prime Minister and the President. The Chinese president’s visit is being finalized.

Earlier, Shah Mehmood Qureshi had a telephonic conversation with Chinese counterpart Wang Yi and consulted about overcoming the pandemic.
