Chinese President Wont Attend Pakistan Day Parade - Tariq Fatmi

.
In other words, it is the lollipop given to pakistani awam (including many in PDF) so that they can sit quietly.
If the lollipop was not given to them, what they would have done? Thrown out PM from the PM house?

Not getting your point. Being a spokesperson does not qualify not aware of current affairs or is it?
The job of the spokesperson is to read out the the given statement. The spokesperson maybe aware of current affairs but their job description prevents them from saying anything but what is given to them in writing.

The news must be false.

Pakistan has conveyed how much important this visit is as they are having a parade after a long time and the best ally is invited for it.

An intense security can be arranged easliy and it wont be of not much threat to attend the parade , have a few meetings and fly back. If still its refused, its a PROBLEM.

Miss Tasneem is a Spokesperson - you know the meaning of spokesperson and what is the job of a spokesperson? She simply forwards to the media what is given her to read.

Is Mr. Akbaruddin a spokesperson of Indian foreign office?

You took the term spokesperson way too literally, a spokesperson is a representative of an organization, FO in this case. A spokesperson is supposed to have all the knowledge about its client and should be able to answer any questions on behalf of its client.

This FO spokesperson Tasleem is big joke. She don't know whether Jud is banned or not. You can't even camp are her with syed akkarbudin.

Before criticizing her it would have been better if you had checked spelling of your own official. And better criticism is worth noting if it is coming from some competent relevant person unlike case here.......................

Why would Chinese President attend our national parade anyway?
Because the relationship is deeper than the ocean, stronger than steel, higher than the mountains, and sweeter than honey! They are all weather friends. So it is natural that the Chinese Prez attends Pakistan's military parade.

But now that he's not attending, Pakistan needs to do some soul searching as to why its 'best' friend, philosopher and guide isn't attending. The fact is that where the Chinese are concerned, Pakistan's military parade isn't worth the time and effort for the stature of the President of a country like China. It's small change for him.

My point is simple. Its the institutions that make or break things, not some representative. Pakistan thinks that its the loser civilian representatives that are responsible whereas matter of fact is, your institutions are still nascent enough to turn around things at their choice.

Pardon me for my words but I have never seen Pakistan having an independent, matured, self fulfilling stance. We have seen u either being 'with them or against them' or being someone's 'higher than mountains and deeper than oceans friend'.

Point is where does Pakistan fit in World Diplomacy? As an independent soveirgn state in true sense and not just on paper? or as part of some powerfull countries strategy and be a vessel or medium for that country to fulfill its strategic agenda?
