This is entirely the fault of the CPC.

The liberals in the CPC still want to give these disgusting Hong Kong sewer rats their 'SAR' status instead of making HK just another Chinese province under CPC control.

It's these worthless liberal scumbags in China that always argue for soft policies toward HK.

HK should go 100% under CPC control from political system, education, media, immigration, language, currency...everything.

No-first-use nuclear policy, minimal nuclear arsenal, no overseas bases, no military alliances, HK SAR status, Macau SAR status, etc.

It all depends on what is Han. If it is Han's country, than China exists only after the Han dynasty.

Hong Kong is considered to be an integral part of China, therefore in my opinion it should be mandatory for all student's to at least learn Mandarin to co-exists with there fellow countrymen. In addition, your knowledge on the education system of Hong Kong is rather outdated because student's in schools have the option in choosing the education medium in Mandarin. Then you make a pathetic presumption in pointing out that Hong Kong has regressed economically. The average income in Hong Kong is way above Vietnam and its still regarded as the fifth largest stock exchange in the world. Who are you to question Chinese communism rule, when your own country monitors journalists when entering your country. Pollution occurs in every single country....including Vietnam. The younger generation in Hong Kong views Mainland as some sort of enemy oppressing them, when in reality the Mainland is what is keeping Hong Kong alive. Hong Kong depends on Mainland for food, water, electricity as well as steady stream of tourism income. Part of the problem is that China did not force the issue when it comes to National Security Law (Article 23). In essence this allowed all sorts of garbage to operate in Hong Kong without repercussion. You can't reward bad behavior. Doing so will only encourage the said behavior, not correct it.

Look at Macau today. It passed its own Article 23 and is much more prosperous today compared to 1999.
