It contains some fair points but I don't see India's foreign policy as being "self-contradictory" at all, in fact I think there is a clear agenda at work. India is trying to keep on the good side of everyone AND meet her own national interests- India still buying Iranian oil whilst under US/EU sanctions/pressure, signing co-operation and defence agreements with Saudi Arabia at the same time negotiating a free trade agreement with Israel, increasing trade with China year on year and getting closer with Japan.
Literally only in India!
Having said that I do think India should start to look beyond her introverted stance and take a more aggressive approach to world affairs in SOME cases.
All in all it's not bad at all...
