Chinese media: India used Goa BRICS Summit to outmanoeuvre Pakistan

Thanks for tagging me. So ofcourse they are right. They actually meant that Modi is a crying baby who keeps on weiling and crying wolf on each and every event, may it be SAARC Summit or BRICS conference. But problem is that did it achieve its objective?

Hi , i see a well thought out reply but then few points i would like to raise myself.

What exactly was the Indian motive ? How do you gauze that , its an assumption that India wanted to include Pakistan 's name in the terrorism declaration.
Indian diplomatic effort and their expectations and the independent newspaper articles may not have a common realistic target set.

Whether it was a success or a failure can be deemed on how much you have achieved , there can never be a 100 or a 0 for anything its always something in between.

Secondly the BIMSTEC as pointed out in the original report was a masterstroke , you cannot deny that which China acknowledged by including the SAARC forum to solve differences in their official statement.

Thirdly do you think its just one conference/ world forum that India is looking into ? its a work in progress , it will have success and failures as i said no absolutes.

Fourthly i find it very funny to see that most members here are very happy trying to portray India's failure , it would rather be helpful if Pakistan or its diplomatic effort had any direct say on the outcome. Pakistan is being reduced to a point where they are dependent on either India goofing it up or hoping that China comes to their aid.But understand that any country including China will only help you to a limit the only way to help oneself is your own self.

Another fallacy is Russian effort , suddenly Pakistanis started calling Russia their ally and they are somewhat against Indian effort an ally of yours who just leased a nuclear sub to your biggest enemy , better we have no such allies.

Its a game of chess , you don't kill the king in one shot you lay it tactfully to reduce your powers where your king is left exposed and vulnerable.

I remember the cricket matches of the 90's : India lost , sad enough but Pakistan loss makes are more happy - We have moved ahead of this mindset long back but i see Pakistan is still caged.

You forgot to look up !! Indian Express is just quoting Global times

http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1012139.shtml

I wont be surprised if you are dumb now !

The article is in Global Times' Opinion Section. The Global Times Tabloids has been published opinion pieces from wide spectrum of individuals, from far-left to far-right. You guys are taking this article far too seriously than it is necessary.

It is a point of view , might not be an official statement but them every news article that gets posted from the Indian media section re also POVS of various factions should we not take those also with a pinch of salt.

POVS might be a case of discussing and dissection isnt it?

By stressing "State-Run Chinese Media", India Express obviously did not want you to take their piece as merely a personal POV.

Agreed , the fallacy of the Indian Media is nothing new.
The media in today's world tries to alter opinions based on their alliance ,( the principle of merely reporting facts with evidence is long gone ) its a global phenomenon and its incorrect to point out India which is merely adopting such secrets from the developed world.

Secondly if i am correct Global Times China does have some sort of understanding with Chinese government. and they mst be editorial checks even on the OPINION SECTION as most newspapers have worldwide. I may be totally wrong , long ago i had a good chat with the GTF admin named tony who was a kind and extremely good fellow.

If you want to know Global Times' own take, to somehow assess/guess Chinese Government's attitude, you need to read their editorial pieces.

I will not negate a single point of yours here. But tell me if this would take us anywhere? Suppose India is able to isolate Pakistan like hell, so what next? Do U think that this will press Pakistan just to lay flat and join likes of current Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc? No Sir, not at all, rather it will escalate things so much that Pakistan might be forced to take such a step which otherwise wud be damn stupid. Times of cornering countries is gone. Plz do think about that.

Why quote Indian media now ?Because it is convenient now ? Weren't you mocking Indian media in the other thread? I thought you trusted Chinese media over Indian media

First of all that wasnt official Chinese Media source so I wud refrain from taking it as official Chinese statement. Secondly yes I still mock Indian media for all that unnecessary hype they create and Thanks to Indian media that a..Ho... (apologies as cudnt resist that) here are also adopting this tactic to increase ratings. Thirdly, had I posted any Pakistani link then ofcourse it was already null n void with U. Forth, does it really matter what Pakistani or Indian media say when we know that media today is a "Presstitute" whose only loyalty is with the one who is paying more. Some get money by being Pro Country and some get it by being anti country. Look around and U ll find living examples out there. Tell me if I am wrong.
