Chinese football team will no long be weak in 10 years

You do not need to be too serious and persistent with discussions like this

That is why from the beginning, I said: Your analysis is too long

You do not change the views of others and only waste your time.

No need to be too serious on PDF
lol, considering those aren''t actually "My view" to begin with......

Watched a documentary about Sport Psychology from BBC some time ago (Don't remember the title) but it explain very well why some country (such as China) is bad at team sport (Basketball, football etc) and good at individual sport (like swimming, shooting and gymnastic etc) and some country like the US have more balanced approach between both. And some countries like Brazil, only ever good at a singular sport.

That guy say it is actually very close to how people in particular country was brought up. Team sport is not like individual sport, which only basically required skill, as you don't need to work with anyone, or have anyone to impede your progress, it's basically a skill match, whoever had the best skill will most likely win (luck notwithstanding) And skill can be acquired by following instruction, repetitive training, which is basically how people in China were brought up

Team sport, on the other hand, not just required strength and conditioning, because not all team sport are contact sport. But team sport require a sporting mind, a Sport IQ of some sort to be able to overcome your competitor. Since sport happened in real time, which mean that is how you adapt into a situation you may suddenly found either on an advantage or disadvantage end. Couple that with individual skill, now while skill is important, but this is not as important as how you deal with an interaction and team work, these condition is how people in the west brought up.

Until China can overcome this, they will continue to suck at team sport regardless of all 11 guy are all Chinese Captian Tsubasa
Chinese women's soccer and Chinese women's volleyball have won many world championships, and Chinese women's basketball is the world runner-up.
Chinese men's basketball and Chinese men's volleyball are among the top eight teams in the world.

China is a strong team in all team sports such as rowing, water polo, handball and field hockey, and has won many world championships.

China's weak soccer team does not mean that China's team sports are weak.

A combination of strength and teamwork, tug-of-war, China vs USA:

Bruh, australians are getting their *** kicked by Japan and S. Korea all the times. They aren't good at football at all.
Meanwhile, the J leaguers are going to toe to toe with Euro clubs AND winning. They also won the Asian Club championship last year (Uruwa Red), not your aussie club.

Yes, but we won Asian Cup in 2015, not Japan, nor they won in 2019, that's Qatar

Again, I would say Japan won't get a sure win over these team, do you not agree?

OK, we agree to not say "dominate", I'm saying the japanese are the strongest team in Asia right now, and their strength even surpasses some of the top 10 euro national teams. Their success proves asians can make it in football, without the need for muh physiques.

dude, you have a serious bias on Japan, again, maybe you are a fan? I am not, as I said before, I see South Korea probably a tad bit better than Japan, I mean I can name a few South Korean player playing for top league club, I can't with the Japanese.

But then this is so outside the scope here so I am not going to continue.

Don't wordplay with me.
Then ask your question clearer.

I would say Chinese women soccer is more like Japan men soccer, on the other hand, Japan women soccer is better than Chinese, and that's no doubt.

On the other hand, Women basketball is really something weird, I mean how was it a competition when the best one can hope for is second?? Mind you Japan also win silver in Tokyo Olympic, but I don't think JBL is world class even in women league, so how CBA women league match up to the world?

and this is FIBA Women world cup in 2022

I mean this is gold medal game, and either you are saying US team quality is out of this world, or the second best really is not anything. I would say both game were boring at best...

And Chinese men's basketball is top 8 team in the world?? LOL, are you serious??

And? Where is Aussie in 2019 Asian cup? Japan won the runner-up in 2019.
In fact, when was the last time Aussie nat team even beats Japan nat team? 2015?

Yes, while I do have my bias for Japan, the fact they are the most physically disadvantages (short physiques, shorter legs and arms) yet they constantly outperform their opponents proves that Asian physiques aren't necessarily a thing that hold back success in team sports.

And Japan has consistently beaten Korea in national team, U16, U23, U17, all 3-0 that it becomes a meme in the AFC. Either ways, I do agree that Japan AND S. Korea beat the crap out of the australian in soccer despiter smaller physiques. And let's not mention the New Zealand team.

And my question is as clear as day, I think asians are good at team sports, do you agree, yes or no?

About this:
Again, I would say Japan won't get a sure win over these team, do you not agree?
There's never a "sure win" in football, but bigger probability of winning, yes.

Again, that's outside the scope of what we are talking. I understand you as a Japanese fans, but I will say Japan may not beat Australia or even Iraq everytime they meet, as their team are almost equal.

You may think otherwise, and think Japan will win anything and every time, that's well, your bias which you already admitted, so there are really nothing to talk about.

By the way, I think Australian team is shit, I never were a fan of Australia when we are talking about international match. Sure, I want them to win because it's my country, but I know for a fact that they are shit when they were compared to European and South American powerhouse.

It's like the time when Australian Men's basketball team beat virtually everyone in Asia and Oceania, that's not an achievement, because that's not where the best team were.

Again, my answer is the same. Because we are simply talking about how Asian team perform in Asia.

If you think "good" means they are good as a team? YES
if you think "good" means they can be measured to other teams in other nations? NO

That's not my bias, that's my observation from seeing the games. Again, answer my question: when is the last time the australian team beats the japanese team?

You ask why the blacks in Europe are better than the blacks in Africa, I would say it's the same reason why the whites in Europe are better than the whites in Australia.
If you think "good" means they are good as a team? YES
if you think "good" means they can be measured to other teams in other nations? NO
So what does this even mean? They are good but they cannot compared to "other nations"? What nations? Germany? Spain? Zambia? Haiti?

Yes, but we won Asian Cup in 2015, not Japan, nor they won in 2019, that's Qatar
And pardon my language, but no, you didn't win the Asian cup in 2015, the whites and blacks in the Australia nat team won that.
You are a chinese in Australia, and the australians make sure to never hire any chinese for their football team, while their hired team get their *** kicked by the japanese and korean in the actual match.

Again. I never said Australia is a good team, I said they are comparable to other Asian team, because I think asian team sucks at football in general. It's really pointless to talk about how you defeated Australia in football, whether or not you think Australia can have a chance. Do you think Japan beating Australia will mean they have a chance on taking up strong team like the UK or Spain or France??

It's like me saying Australian Men's Basketball is the best in Asia and beat every team in Asia in almost 99% chance, and they do "Dominate" Basketball in Asia and Oceania. But then what? None of these team are good and Australia will always get stuck as the best country in Basketball outside US and Europe . That is nothing even if we won bronze in the last Olympic
So what does this even mean? They are good but they cannot compared to "other nations"? What nations? Germany? Spain? Zambia? Haiti?
As in as a team, it was consistently be beaten by at least 16 other countries in the world since 1950

So why mention the Australian football team and even try to equate them to Japan then?

How many countries are in the world? Oh that's right, over 200 of them. How many of them even get into the WC and even into R16?
Even goddamn Germany and Italy can't do it LOL, so I guess Japan is better than Germany and Italy now?

Again, it's the level of play, they are the same level, you may think otherwise, but they are. You can think Japan can defeat Australian any given date does not mean it was true.

You do know what round of 16 means in world cup? Being in World Cup group of 16 does not mean you are top 16 team in the world.

World cup get ticket to country by region, if you are the best 3 or 4 team, YOU WILL GET IN round of 32. The problem is, Asia is not as competitive than other country like Europe and South America, so the very fact that, only 4 times out of however number of times they can break thru of R32 means that they aren't really that good at football.

Your issue here is you seems to think FIFA ranking and appearing in world cup is a big deal, problem is, how many equal competition in Asia for Japan? I can count them all in 1 hand, which mean these stage for Japan is all but guaranteed. But it wouldn't be if you look at 5th or 6th place in Europe and South America. Look at it this way, japan loses to country like Columbia and Costa Rica, both of which have to play really good to get a World Cup ticket, and WAY down on FIFA ranking, but I would say these country have a better chance on winning in international stage but they will never have the same chance on World Cup or world ranking as Japan

But does that mean these team are shit compare to Japan?

I'm sorry what? How are the Japanese and Australia at the same level? Proof? This is you blowing your country team for no reasons at all LOL.

Being in WC constantly means you have to dominate your region, being in R16 consistently means you must at least beat 2 other international teams or get enough goals to upset the loss, hence the team must be good.

And while I don't necessarily think Colombia and Costa Rica are shit team, they are good teams thus the japanese cannot consistently win against them (South american football style), but they do not consistently lose either, in fact Japan just beats Peru 4-1 recently.

I don't see your point?

.
Being good at youth level does not automatically translate to being good at senior level.

. .

Again, 4 AFC world cup winner, 4 different countries, 1 of them is Australia, the other is Japan.

You may think highly about the Japanese. That's your issue

Again, you do know what that's mean? That mean out of all those year, 7 times they had been in world cup, they only beat 8 international team......That's not really a good record don't you think? 7 would cup = 21 international match played, that's under 50% win.....by the way, Japanese World Cup record is 7 win, 2 draw and 12 lost. Not 8 Win.

On the other hand, you still don't know what I said, sure, Japan beat Peru 4:1 or El Salvatore 6:0, then what? But then they were also defeated by Mexico 2:0 in 2020, Draw with Uruguay 0 : 0 in 2023, defeated by Costa Rica 1:0 in 2023, defeated by 2:1 to Columbia in 2023. Draw with Ecuador 0:0 in 2022 All these team are 5th,6th and you are looking at the top team in Asia against the second draw team in South America. Let alone Japan was defeated by CAF (like Tunisia) or draw with Cameroon back in 2020. Those aren't really top team without much World Cup experience. And I don't think Japan do win CONMEBOL constantly unless you are talking about 3rd rate CONMEBOL team. Becuase you are looking at more draw and lose than win against tier 2 teams, let alone the big gun like Argentina or Brazil.......

I mean, you asked me 2 questions now, so i am going to ask one

Do you think if Japan have any chance at all of World Cup if it is put in CONMEBOL like Australia is being put on AFC? Do you seriously think if Japan is being put on that league they would have any chance on a world cup ticket?

Good teamwork doesn't only mean winning the world champion and becoming No.1 beating everyone else. Actually Japanese women's football team did win the world champaign once and China won the runner up once.
Asians are not good at contact sports, Asian countries are the best of the best in Esports games though.
