I agree that it is an insult if a government can't clean its own streets, there are no better ones or worse ones, in Beijing the streets are also swept by street cleaners manually. It's more about if the government has the will to get it done. Things will change for the better I m sure, at least the government is trying to work on it now.

No, it isn't. Why should a government clean the streets? Why cannot communities hire waste companies to do that? It is only an insult when a government promises that it will clean the streets and it doesn't do it.

In Beijing that's government policy and orders are given from top down. That's how it works here, the majority of Beijing's streets are still manually swept by street cleaners.

Chinese government has done many things that aren't part of the job description for a government, while at the same time either skip or does a poor job on the part that is actually in the job description, like justice system.

In Scandinavia, the garbage is sorted into several categories at the source i.e. by the people and then thrown into the garbage collectors nearby their residences. Thus biogas and leachate are produced from the putrescible or biodegradable waste, they also produce biofuel or ethanol which is used especially in public transport within the cities i.e. metro

Metals, plastics, glass are recycled while dry waste is burnt to produce electricity and district heating i.e. heating for the whole community by warming up water in a boiler and thus recirculating through a residential, commercial and office areas thus they receive hot water the year round and used for shower, radiators for heating, washing machines, dish machines, or just manual washing of dishes etc.. though the warm water is not recommended for drinking, used cold water instead for drinking.

This is a great system. It not only keeps the whole cities clean and healthy but a lot of energy is extracted and a lot of material get recycled and thus making it much sustainable.

Streets of Pakistani cities are littered with filth and trash so if this system is adopted by the city government, it can revolutionise the way people live their lives and outlook of the cities will be far more cleaner. Thus I want Pakistanis to know about this system especially as we claim to be Muslim and cleanliness is considered half of the faith... so let's review our priorities and faith and follow a clean life
