Chinese farmer builds miniature Lamborghini for grandson
Owning a supercar is a far-fetched dream for many, but a Chinese farmer has made the aspiration a reality by piecing together three miniature Lamborghinis with his own hands.
Guo Liangyuan, from a rural area of Zhengzhou, central China’s Henan Province, said the idea of a homemade Lamborghini was sparked by his concern for his kindergarten grandson three years ago. Fearing the little boy could fall from the 55-year-old's motorcycle on his way home, the grandpa decided to build his own vehicle - from scratch.
Within three years, Guo had assembled three miniature electro supercars, all fully operational with windshield, headlights, horn and brakes installed, for a total cost of just 15,000 yuan (2,180 US dollars). The upgraded version can reach a top speed of 40 kilometers per hour.
