We all know what happened few days ago with the death of the Chinese engineers. It is now clear that this was a terrorist attack despite Pakistan government's effort to pass this off as 'accident'. Chinese tend not to say much in public but of interest is the the outburst by the editor chief of Global Times Hu Xikin which is a state owned media thus reflects Biejings thoughts.

He expresses his shock and then says " If Pakistan’s capability is not enough, with its consent, China’s missiles and special forces can be put into action.".

This is pretty harsh language and tells us how China is feeling about this incident.

Hu Xijin does not represent the government, nor do I think that Chinese special forces will go to Pakistan.

Pakistan’s domestic security requires a systematic solution, and not a few special forces can solve the problem.

The police department is responsible for investigating terrorist attacks in China. Fighting terrorists is also the armed police force, not the PLA. The terrorists' greatest advantage is that they are hidden among civilians, and they have no ability to confront the army head on. It is disappointing for Pakistan in this case that the government departments tried to hide information that such an apparent car bomb attack could be explained as a gas explosion when the Chinese Foreign Ministry was already aware of the details. The incompetence and stupidity of these Pakistani govt officials is shocking.

I think it's time to let in Chinese Special Forces or one more such incident will place CPEC in peril. How can Chinese be bloody safer in India, Africa etc but get killed so often in so called ally Pakistan? It is incompetence and the result of taking it easy on the Islamists in Pakistan.

The fact is any Islamists looks at the world through the prism of religion and NOT Pakistan. Don't forget Islam is global ummah and Pakistan is only a tract of territory with borders in Asia and home to 200 million Muslims. That leaves over a billion Muslim ummah outside. Most Chinese actually take very dim view of all religions. They live in the today and not hereafter. So we all know there have been issues.

The region of Kohistan is notorious for radical Muslim groups. They actually have killed policemen and burnt girls schools. This all is well recorded and Dasu Dam is being built right in middle of this region so it would not surprise me if they had something to do with this.

Be that as it may it is time Pakistan cut back silly money being spent on naval ships and stopped worrying about high seas. Instead how about spending that money and making Pakistan safe. Or hand over security of CPEC to Chinese.

Chinese communists are also Chinese, in today's China, there are no true communists, people join the party for more opportunities and chance of promotion, that's it. Chinese traditionally don't like or dislike any religions, do you see any religious wars in China's 5 thousand years long history? None, I admit you may see some Chinese radicals posting some hate messages on the internet, but internet is the place for radicals, in real life, their percentage is almost like nothing.

No, China will not deploy any troops in Pak. The best way China can help is maybe with drone and satellite intelligence to support Pak Gov.

Doesn't really come as a surprise. They have high hopes with the CPEC Project, invested a lot into it. They care about their people. Not unlike us, where each day 4-5 soldiers die from terrorist attacks in Baluchistan and no one bats an eye. Business as usual. Kohistan is backward and probably the biggest concentration of gays in Pakistan. Few days ago a video emerged of TTP Kohistan & Baltistan and people were doubting its authenticity to brush it under the carpet. Chinese will never be safe if there is even a single "jihadi" terrorist in Pakistan. America's Uyghur propaganda is strong and incidents like these will keep happening if terrorists are given breathing space. This is probably not done by India. China is implying they have some ideas of possible groups who did this which means they have some information on it by now. If it is India, China would have mentioned it and presented some evidence on it or at least claim this. It is something that China would love to do and focus attention on how India is using terrorists. It has not done that yet but already has suggested it knows at least some information on identity. So if it is India, China would have said already and condemn and accuse them.

Imagine if Chinese financed terrorist attacked American engineers working in India and USA has some evidence to suggest it is Chinese terrorists or funded by China? They would be talking about it for a few years.
