Chinese engineers, local police trade punches in Khanewal after an argument

This incidence show the mindset of the chinese vs the pakistanis and vice versa. Their contempt for you.

How many chinese have you seen in this thread ? Of the two, one abused pakistan and one criticized the chinese behaviour.

About Jadav, its funny how you have not even granted an Indian citizen consular access. TOmorrow what guarantees does the chinese have you will treat them with respect and give arrested chinese consular access ? Be treated as per international norms ?

bla bla bla

this is one incident in a country of 220 million. you are really that desperate to make your point?

Now after beating out Arabs you want to beat out Chinese?
There must have been some disagreement... either on bribe amount or police employee did something wrong... there are plenty of eye witnesses around!
I have not seen a video from Indians, showing Chinese beating any single person... but you want to believe Indians without they providing any evidence, not even kids in Pakistan would believe any Indian. But you did made a choice by ignores, what Pakistani stated.
As i said... Sindhi bureaucrats are acting as tools of PPP and are the biggest hurdle.

Rest of the video.

China should call back all the personel working in pakistan, to end their miserable life of prison-like there. Nobody wants to go to work in that country, all forced by our stupid government with incentive of pay hike and promotion. Their behavior is irrational, but understandable, they reached their breaking point.

Hope this incident evolve into big event, so people will think again before going to a country like pakistan.

Then why exactly are you in a Pakistani Defence Forum? Don't take our patience as a sign of weakness. For some reason I don't think your a Chinese.

Throw them out for sure.

They are bringing a bad name to Chinese nationals working in Pakistan. Since this has become a diplomatic incident, I don't think they are going to enjoy returning home either. If they are lucky they will be punished in Pakistan and not in China.

Brother Chinese people are welcome to travel across Pakistan. But you must understand our situation is quite unique. Afghanistan borders us and we have militants coming in and out. There is a big nexus of foreign intelligence agencies who want to destroy CPEC. The best way to do that is to kill Chinese in Pakistan. Why do you think the CCP leadership ask for security from the Pakistani Government? Upon reflection the military decided to make a special task force.

how the hell did i miss this gem?

so you have a political party in China which has tabled this resolution in the parliament?

I understand as the enemy of Pakistan the Indians here are trying their best to milk this isolated incident and inciting hatred and animosity between Chinese and Pakistani people. It's to be expected out of them. But I'm a little disheartened to read some members who identify themselves as Chinese or Pakistani also throwing out inflammatory comments here as well before knowing all facts. Can we at least wait till full investigation of the incident before making judgement? I believe whoever is in the wrong should be punished be it Pakistani or the Chinese engineers.

Also, no matter how close the relationship are between countries or people. There will always be disagreement and conflicts of interest in some area. The important thing is to manage the small disagreements and don't let it be the distraction of the big picture. The friendship between China and Pakistan is time tested and proven in the past many decades on mutual respect and common strategic interest. I hope the real Chinese and Pakistani members don't let this incident blinded their eyes and throwing out hurtful speeches out of nationalism and let the Indians gleefully laughing on the side how easily we can be manipulated by just one video.

There was another thread created in China & Far East section yesterday. This is what I have said earlier in the other post.

If this incident between the Chinese engineers and Pakistani police is true like the article described. Then the Chinese engineers are being morons and putting themselves in danger trying to leave the camp without the police protection. It's shameful behavior and disrespecting your hosting country as guests. Unless there are more to the story than what the article is saying, China should order them back to China and reprimand these morons. When you are in another country, in a way you represent your country. Show some dignity and respect for yourself and your host country. With that being said, every country got their fair share of bad apples.

I’m not an Indian and not a Pakistani. I am well wisher of Pakistan. Pakistan should recall this is not the first incident and decide its response accordingly.

Cheers!

Lol........lol................What the hell is all the fuss about?????.........there was no fight or rumble here............just seen the clip.....it was a minor scuffle between a group of men which happens a million times a day across the world. What is the nationality of those involved got to do with anything? There's probably more violence between family members at a party than this........

The engineers had a long hard day of work and wanted to go out and burn some stress. For their own safety due to the current conditions in Pakistan, they were asked to remain in their quarters. Things got a bit heated and there was a misunderstanding. Boys will be boys. Nothing more.

I actually feel sorry for those who believe that this is a big thing and that this is the end of the Pakistan China relationship..................you are SOOOOO desperate that you are clutching at the lost of lost straws.............

Some of the comments on this thread is really indicative of how hurt and distraught some people are about the Pakistan China relationship........

PS all this episode shows is that the longer the Chinese are in Pakistan the more they are starting to behave like Pakistanis.............only joking!

Chinese people are known for their bad behavior in foreign countries , their own govt acknowledged that .. but incident like this should be properly handled and a notice should be sent to company which these engineers are from .. police is there to protect you so if you are having trouble with the police rather than getting into a fist fight contact your embassy and let them handle it ..

Look at the daring of this bastard. Why don't you kick the pale @ss of this bastard

In this diplomatic spat, the least Pakistan can do without offending China while teaching these rude "Ho lee fuk's" lifelong lesson is to stamp their passports with deported stamp so that they have to give life-long explanation for every visit outside China.

You're right, that is what enemies do. Though, I know the facts, however, I cannot let myself start building assumption based on wrongdoing of a few persons. Anyone from China is treated like a brother here, but this incident was really disappointing. I was on Khanewal-Kabirwala Rd at about 10:15 AM that day, saw an unsual traffic jam at M4 construction site at 30.3603584,71.8896454 https://goo.gl/maps/x9HPYAfX5Xn , was stuck there for almost two hours and do you know what was the reason behind the traffic jam? The road was blocked by construction staff (on order of their Chinese in-Charge) and not only that but also at several other points along with that M4 section under same company. That was really unfair and disappointing to me at least. Govt provides two security personnel for each person from China related to CPEC or Industrial project and they must be accompanied by their guards wherever they go to ensure their safety. When the rule is clear why would they want to leave their camp site without security personnel, but what they did afterwards was worse. But like I said before, some individuals don't define whole nation and I recommend others to think the same.

Not true. Chinese citizens don't hesitate to beat or slap their policemen. Such cases are abundant in China.
Yet they don't try this in the US, do they? Because they know the reaction.:guns:

This thread is about a person disrespecting the law enforcing bodies. What’s the video got to do anything with this thread. Did the Indian national assault the police or disobey.

And India is a country with dignity not slaves like you. You should have also posted, what followed after this incident. If you don't know let me show you, how India ruffled the US. See the videos below & understand Indian slavery

India pulled out all the barricades & A level security protection for the US Embassy & diplomats in India shocking the US Gov.t. If Indian diplomats are not safe in US, then the US diplomats in India is not Indian Gov.t responsibility.

Hope you remember the recent Canadian PM Justin Trudeau treatment. Trade, money, economics & relations are important but our dignity is equally important. We may be brown people, but we give respect & take respect.

At-least Devyani was a diplomat who had valid charges, but still she got justice & strong Indian Gov.t's retaliation. What is the dignity of Pakistan. PM of Pakistan, wow. Really. Is this your dignity & people come here & keep shouting India is slave of US & west. Spineless & Shameless people. You were & are the slaves of the US & Arabs, now the Chinese too. So kindly think before you post any crap, where do you stand.
