I understand as the enemy of Pakistan the Indians here are trying their best to milk this isolated incident and inciting hatred and animosity between Chinese and Pakistani people. It's to be expected out of them. But I'm a little disheartened to read some members who identify themselves as Chinese or Pakistani also throwing out inflammatory comments here as well before knowing all facts. Can we at least wait till full investigation of the incident before making judgement? I believe whoever is in the wrong should be punished be it Pakistani or the Chinese engineers.
Also, no matter how close the relationship are between countries or people. There will always be disagreement and conflicts of interest in some area. The important thing is to manage the small disagreements and don't let it be the distraction of the big picture. The friendship between China and Pakistan is time tested and proven in the past many decades on mutual respect and common strategic interest. I hope the real Chinese and Pakistani members don't let this incident blinded their eyes and throwing out hurtful speeches out of nationalism and let the Indians gleefully laughing on the side how easily we can be manipulated by just one video.
There was another thread created in China & Far East section yesterday. This is what I have said earlier in the other post.
If this incident between the Chinese engineers and Pakistani police is true like the article described. Then the Chinese engineers are being morons and putting themselves in danger trying to leave the camp without the police protection. It's shameful behavior and disrespecting your hosting country as guests. Unless there are more to the story than what the article is saying, China should order them back to China and reprimand these morons. When you are in another country, in a way you represent your country. Show some dignity and respect for yourself and your host country. With that being said, every country got their fair share of bad apples.
