What's new

Chinese consumers love Samsung more than Apple 3 to 1

We dont get any chinese brands in the UK :D
I am currently saving up for galaxy tab 10.1 they are quite impressive and overall can be modified unlike ipad which feels like a prison

ZTE has been in the UK for 7 Years, I had one from Three.co.uk

the problem with the iPad is that it is too big (but I buy every one like an idiot)
HTC Tablets are the best. Period.

.
well I also like Samsung and HTC far more than Apple in fact I wont touch
Apple with a 10m pole.

about Chinese phones sadly we don't get the good ones here only the
cheap imitation of the other brands AKA the fake ones so they are of very
low quality.
honestly I don't know why china allow some people give a bad name to the
whole country .

.
Haven't come across them yet mate
Orange Sanfrancisco = ZTE blade
Orange Monte Carlo = ZTE Skate

There was some talk of ZTE selling phones in UK in shops but dont know whether it happened yet.

You can get ZTE phones in UK(branded as San Francisco and Monte Carlo by orage).
It is not same as apple or even samsung though, dont compare apple with orange.(could not resist saying that)

how many times can you drop an apple on a concrete floor and have it not shatter like the glass its made of?

If you live in Shenzhen, China, with the easy accessibility to the supply chain, making a cellphone is easier than making a decent meal. These low quality imitations are not made on factory floors, instead, they are made in someone's living rooms. Over the years, police have been launching raids to get these people, these were shown on TV from time to time. However, it is hard to eradicate them, the demand is very high and these home based workshop are not as obvious as those making crystal meths. In addition, the punishment is not as severe as violent crimes. With the cellphone's price getting cheaper and cheaper, it is harder and harder for these workshops to make money though.

Dude Apple is so expensive it would be logical that Chinese like Samsung more.

why the f*** anyone would drop their on concrete floor?:hitwall:

by accident. i was taking a shower and hanged my pants on the railings which were higher than my head. forgot to take my phone out. it crashed to the wet floor. the battery fell out, put it back in, no problems just a paint scratch. an iphone would've shattered. i even demonstrated this to people by just taking my phone out of my pocket and letting it drop to concrete, nothing happens.

.
I use HTC. Samsung is just a little low class to me. More, I feel the same for all things from Korea no matter north or south.

well I several time dropped my Samsung phone on Asphalt and Granite floor by accident
for example it was on a table and while working hit it accidentally by hand or some problem
with wrist band . and honestly I saw that phone was more resilient compared to the fruity
ones . for example It's shure if you hit your Iphone by accident and throw it by force 2-3 meter
away from a height of 1.2-1.3m there is no chance that it work any more but the only thing that
happened to my phone is that its back door opened and the battery fell off mand all you needed
to do was put every thing back inside and press on button and even there was not a scratch on
its touch screen.

.
Samsung is more popular in Asia and other third world developing countries.

Apple products are damn expensive!

I am actually one of the very few people that haven't made the jump to smart phones yet (Blackberry, Android, iPhone). First cellphone I owned was a Sony Ericsson. Since then, I changed phone 3 times, but all of them were Samsung. Gotta say though, my latest one is a piece of ****. I sent it in for repair twice in 3 months, and still problems persist. I think I might actually toss it in the garbage and get a blackberry instead.

.
I switched from an iphone to the galaxy s2 and man am I happy.
Android is miles and miles ahead of apple, who is still stuck in 2007.
Also, it is not only China, the whole world is buying the S2 like nothing else. .
As much as I hate Samsung for what the do to Korean people, I sure do love their products.

well 70% of samsung stock is owned by Americans so its actually not a Korean company. even the CEO is just working for the US.
