Chinese Aircraft Carrier Suddenly Increased Specifications

Not "BBS". It's an article from defense news site, and the author claims he got the info from Japanese and Korean news.

I see, so instead of concocting your own rubbish, you went and dig at somebody else's rubbish site quoting sheer rubbish.

I suppose this is an improvement of sorts...

Assuming such sites existed, and the news they allegedly quoted existed... we have yet to see any links.

i knew it was korean news.

95% of chinese are realistic optimists, the remaining 5% are paid for by the CIA and hate themselves. i only know koreans that boast this arrogantly.

And I suppose class enemies constitutes 5% with 95% being revolutionary masses, eh.

Because 'Chinese forum' are all identical, and constitute a broad and statistically significant sample size of the Chinese population?

Varyag won't be deployed. It will be built either into a permanent training platform, a museum, or a floating casino. And I'm not joking about the casino part. There's news articles written on it.

When China bought the Varyag, it agreed that the Varyag would not be turned into a combat ship.

Then we have the most luxury casino in the world!!!

Do you know why?

We have a casino equip with ASEA radar

I just wonder why we need a ASEA radar on a casino? Prevent from cheating?

The casino proposal was just a cover story to facilitate the sale. But I think everyone knew it was such.

You are saying that the varyag will only be used for testing technology? Like what they do to testing J-xx technology on J-10b and J-11b only that varyag will then not be comissioned as a fleet ship?

Yes. It won't be deployed as a combat ship. At most, it will serve as a training ship. It might also be a testbed for new shipborne systems.

J-10B and J-11B aren't technology demonstrators, but yeah, the analogy is pretty much accurate.

It's not an AESA radar. If it's a casino, then it's an imitation of an AESA radar. They want to build it as close to a real carrier as possible.

If the casino plan is really a fake, then at most the Varyag will be used for schooling pilots or a testbed.

Buddy, do you really think that we spent so much time and resource on a casino? How could you convince pepole that its a fake AESA radar? Next time you will say we will put some wood made fighters on this casino, right? Buddy, you make me laugh.

He's saying you should not think someone is Korean or 'paid by the CIA' just because they disagree with you or the majority, even if by a far margin.

too many koreans and paid CIA operatives. i don't say that to everyone. I disagree with Chinese Dragon and Siegecrossbow alot, I've never accused them of being Koreans or CIA. there's some ppl who are too obviously korean/CIA though.

First of all, China signed a contract with Russia agreeing not to turn it into a combat ship.

Second of all, numerous Macau sources say that the Varyag is being fitted into a casino.

Third of all, work is extremely slow and as of now no sensors/equipment have been installed.

Fourth of all, it might as well serve as a training ship.

Get your facts straight before opening your mouth.
