Dogfight is the last thing a stealth wanted to do. You mean as long as it has a powerful powerplant, others like Stealth and avionics are not important? What do you mean by no muscles to flex?

Unfortunately we cannot glean BVR capabilities at airshows, and China doesn't have a reputation for high quality aircraft, so pretty much the only way of proving out the bvr capabilities of the J-20 is in actual conflict.
