Literally:

Collaborative Innovation Centre for Common Fundmental Technologies of Future Aerial Vehicle Design & Manufacturing

Layout & Integrated Design Method Research Team for 6th Gen。Fighter Jet

This wall-hung plate is further confirmation that China has embarked on the R & D of the so-called 6th generation fighter planes。

hahaha, keep going China!:china:

Also the official confirmation of work having started on something similar to this:

This looks like a bomber. Is it a fighter aircraft or a bomber?

I am a pakistani but if u.s is not capable of creating a 6th gen. Fighter than how china is capable?

The key different is China is a rising country flushed with plenty of funds and talent while US is a declining country facing more financial hardship in coming years.

Ever known the Beidou II GPS, mid course ABM test, ASAT test and 5th gen fighter like J-20? How many countries can do these few things? And the key point is China is doing even more...

Researches are being conducted on multi fronts. A case in point is:

On the Application of Laser Sheet Flow Visualization in the Layout Design of a High Performance Aircraft

【Author】 ZHAO Xia,LI Jun,ZUO Lin-xuan(Shenyang Aircraft Design and Research Institute,Shenyang 110035,China)

Flow mechanism of a high performance aircraft at high angle of attack was investigated by using laser sheet flow visualization. Results show that laser sheet flow visualization technology is able to capture complex flow structure, and also to observe clearly the generation, development and combination of the head vortex, the first forewing vortex, the second vortex and wing vortex, respectively. It also reveals the vortex flow around the inner vertical wing, which may improve the yaw stability of aircraft, and reveals forewing deflection which may result in vortex core lower than base instance, thus may increase lift and decrease pitch moment. Results of laser sheet flow visualization further show that the yaw stability of original layout design is insufficient, the vertical wing needs to be moved towards outside in span. Above results provide evidences for further design of the aircraft layout.

you are kidding right? J-10 started in 88. Do you know how poor and technologically backwards China was at that point?

Today China has money, experience, and technological know how and some how can't start it?

Guys, it's just a 6gen fighter research and design team.
I mean a theoretical research team.

That's the B-2, if you look at his post he said China is starting development on it's own bomber, which is true after the Y-20, news of it surfaced.
