What's new

China's rising interest in Nepal, keen to develop districts adjoining Tibet

Then stop constantly crying about "Chinese incursions", and do something about it. Instead of crying and backing down every time.

Too bad for you, the Indian Army itself already admitted that: "India cannot match China by any conventional or non-conventional means, and the gap is growing larger every day".

Or do you think you know more than the Indian Army itself?

Why do i always have second thoughts on Indian credibility? :D

did you forget, last year IA intruded you 410 or 415 times ? what did you do ? jacksh!t !!!

Did you like when IA amassed troops and didn't back down ? It must have come as a surprise.

instead of wasting words, remember mr analyst, IA has a lot more to give if you wanna take them. Your bullying works on your client states. it will not change in the future too no matter how many you can mass produce !

Why do i always have second thoughts on Indian credibility? :D

maybe because you're a chinese communist bot ???

What's the exact reason for these "incursions"? Are they even real?

To be honest India is quite insecure on its "dominance of South Asia". I think as a rational country it shouldn't see China as a rival as India is far behind and they should admit it instead of keeping silly rivalries that in the end will only hurt India's interests. India should follow the China's way in this and follow a low-profile foreign policy until its economy reaches some stage where India can manage to project power outside its borders. Until then India could benefit from China's economic rise.

Basically the Sino-Indian border is not properly demarcated, a legacy of the British Raj in the subcontinent.

So imagine two neighbors who have gardens next to each other, but there are a few square meters of land which they both regularly cross into, due to the border not being properly demarcated.

Let's say they set a foot into this area a few times, and we do it a few times.

Then India screams "Help my neighbor is making an incursion, and I am too weak to do anything about it, help!"

They are basically just making themselves look weak for no reason, or just for the sake of having a loud and crying drama. What can we do.

Maybe one day they will finally find that two-front war which they have been crying about for years now. And thus end up losing the chickens neck corridor, and thus the whole of NE India.

Not to mention, access to Nepal's water resources.

Nepal is on other side of Great Himalayas ( Main range of Himalayan cordilleras) . Transferring water from Nepal to Tibet is impossible.

China's river flow to Nepal

No they don't. Except Ghagra and Kosi ( they too are on southern side of Karakoram range so you could not Dam them ).

That did not make me happy more than yesterday, I just wanted to point out simply your bragging about passport issue is irrelevant to your national interest....you gain nothing more than us.

It shows degree of people to people relations between India and Nepal. A Nepali in India could become Secretary of foreign affairs India and vice versa.

you seem to know the geography of this region, beside Ghaghara and Son, can you tell us if Kosi come from Tibet too ? according to this map.

Much more likely that India will get herself into that "two-front war"' the Indian Army is always whining about, and lose the entire NE India by having the Chicken's neck cut off.

If you don't believe me, next time try forcibly stopping the next "Chinese incursion" and see what happens. :azn:

Learn some rudimentary geography.

The area called Chicken neck is adjacent to Border of Bangladesh and Nepal, not China. It could be blocked only and only if Bangladesh and Nepal simultaneously declare war on India. Nepal won't do It. If Bangladesh does, it would be annihilated.

China would have to occupy a whole Indian state before making a move on Siliguri corridor. Cutting off Chicken neck is sort of nightfall inducing dream for china.

The Indian Army itself has already admitted that: "India cannot hope to match China by any conventional or non-conventional means, and the gap is growing larger every day".

It is hilarious how Indian fanboys think they know better than their own Army.

And what, do you think Sikkim or Nepal is going to stop us? They will most likely let us use their land as transit in order to stay out of the war.

Even our conventional rocket artillery has a range of 350-400 km, we can even hit New Delhi (300 km from the border) without even leaving our own side of the border. We can just sit on the high ground of the Tibetan Plateau, an unbeatable defensive advantage, and use the largest manufacturing base in the world to pump out endless numbers of weapons platforms.

Your Army knows better than you, which is why despite all their crying, they cannot so anything against all the "Chinese incursions".

Blah! Blah!! Blah!!!

Your knowledge of Geography is proved as pedestrian and you come up with this rant to satisfy your bruised Ego.

You know what provides an unbeatable defensive advantage, a 6000 m high wall. Your Army scurried back like rats in 1962 because once winter would have closed all Himalyan passes, Your Army would have died to last man in Himalayan winter.

Your knowledge of geography is a joke, even according to your own map, only Sikkim stands in the way of the Chicken's neck corridor.

If you think you have got what it takes (despite your Army saying it can't fight China), then why not do something about all those "Chinese incursions"? Except cry I mean?

Notice those Brown areas. They are part of Lesser Himalayas and Shiwalik Range with Average Height of 4000m.

There is no Chicken neck for china to cut. Your rant about Chicken neck expose your ignorance of Geography.

That's what you guys thought in 1962 as well, that geography (and our worst ever famine) would give you the upper hand.

But you ended up collapsing like a house of cards, on both fronts. Especially the Eastern front, Chinese troops went so deep into India that even the Chinese leaders themselves were surprised. Despite that sector also being in the "4000m brown area".

Now the balance of power has reversed, we are no longer at our weakest point (or in the middle of a famine), in fact we have grown so powerful that even the Indian Army has admitted they have no chance of matching us.

Don't believe your own Army? Alright, then stop crying about the "Chinese incursions" and do something about it. Another Forward Policy for example, see how you can protect the Chicken's neck corridor from the PLA.

Nothing will be able to move through the Chicken's neck corridor without being hit from all angles, and NE Indian separatists will be given a free hand to run their own region, with military backing from the PLA.
