China had been world's biggest arm importer for a long time. China has fifth generation fighter but yet it depends on 4th generation fighters of Russia for its Airforce. J20 for air show and su30, su35 etc for war.

just because you don't hear about it doesn't mean China's nuclear submarines aren't patroling the world's ocean. or what, do you expect the Chinese military to give the world regular updates about where it's nuclear submarines are located!
the only case in which they declare the location of a nuclear submarine is if it is as a show of force or something like that such as when they sent that nuclear submarine to the Gulf of Aden.
