I'd say Liaoning's overall combat capability is about equal to a modernized US Forrestral class which is greater than every non-US aircraft carrier.

J15 has poor T/W ratio and can not carry more than 2 tons of payload. Lioning is a useless carrier with substandard engine. I can post Chinese source for that if you want.

China makes its own fighters (even if quality is little low). It does not import from france like you people do and make mallions in corruption for Modi and Ambani. Every passing day China's technology is improving where as rest of the world economy is in reverse gear. That's why US has done dozens of simulated war games which always ended in disaster for America forcing US Admirals to admit US is no match for China in the East and South China Sea. Doesn't matter if America have missiles targeting Chinese Carriers which is also taken into account in those simulations.
