China's Huawei limiting business activity in Iran

everybody has
we have survived 32 years of sanctions and a decade of war with the West and Arab World. According to the IMF, our GDP will double by 2016 (it had already multiplied by 4 times from 01 to 2010)

"Iran's GDP to Become Double
The Economist predicted Iran's Gross Domestic Product will be doubled by 2016.

According to the report, Iran's GDP will increase to $473.6 billion in 2011 from $418.3 billion in 2010 showing $55.3 billion increase.
Statistics show that Iran's GDP in 2012 will surge to $539 billion showing 465.4 billion growth over 2011, the Economist added.
The growth in Iran's GDP will continue to 2013 when the index will reach $612.6 billion showing $73.6 billion increase over the previous year.
In 2014, 2015, and 2016, Iran's GDP will respectively increase to $686.3 billion, $781.2 billion and $896.6 billion.
showing $427.6 billion growth , Iran's GDP will be doubled in 2016 compared to 2011, the Economist concluded."

Iran is indeed a very competent nation.

China, except it is larger in size, can develop from a huge peasant nation to what it is in today.

There is no reason to not believe that Iran can do it with its own.

I've read a lot of dumb sh1t on this site but this one takes the cake

If you had an ounce of knowledge on Iran, you would realize that every Asian and Euro firm has entered, exited and entered the Iranian market again 5000 million times in the past 10 years. Huawei, in this case, does a LOT of business in the US. The Americans can EASILY pin something on them and ban them from the country. Huawei is obviously more concerned about the US market than the Iranian mkt, and it should be. Anyway, who gives a ****.

Iranian companies are starting to get in on the action anyway. more mkt share for them.
This was Huawei's prediction about the Iranian mkt a while ago. All the growth will now be captured by Iranian producers like THIS.

Interesting, it is indeed stereotypical to believe that only the West can come up with something with quality.

I'm sure a lot of that phone has Chinese components in it and this is something I'm proud of. This is why the rise of China should be cheered. The rest of Asia will eventually rise with it (the same way a lof of Euro countries benefitted from the industrial rev in a few countries).

GLX founders have managed to open up a factory in Khuzestan (poor part of the country), employ hundreds and build phones for the Iranian market thanks in part to components being manufactured in China. Of course, with time they will start producing more and more in Iran. We're seeing it in many areas.

It is perfectly normal to absorb the foreign technology first, then you can come up with something with your own.

China also did this in the past, and we are not narrow minded people who like to call other people copycat.

Yeah, Iran is a 4000-5000 years ancient civilization just like China, those barbaric westerners simply would never understand how much wisdom our ancestors have passed it to us.

The technology is not everything, you also need the good wisdom to use it, but those westerners don't seem to understand this matter. That's why they are destined to fail.

Iran is a gutsy, determined and proud nation. There is little doubt of Iran becoming one of the bigger powers in the future should it continue with what it is doing. China and Iran is on the same boat so understanding between the two is great. Hope to see further bilateral trades and cooperation between the two nations
