Recent Baidu Map shows DaiShan Base under construction：

DaiShan，shown in the red ellipse，is not far from where the PLAN East Sea Fleet HQ is located：

It is also only 700km from Liuqiu Islands。

1. Lots of sand/mud in the water I dont know if the bay is deep enough for docking a >60K tons aircraft carrier

2. it looks like a practice base for naval carrier-based fighters

Sanya Base:
3. we cannot see supporting facilities like derricks, dockyards, tracks, tugboats from this bird's eye-view. May be we were in process of building the facilities back in 2010
