Why NOT PMLn bring CPEC issue in parliament floor for open discussion. Why Nawaz dealing CPEC as his own brain child. Its not 50 billion dollar investment, its almost 80 to 90 billion dollar investment. Every movement and logistic bring employment around the path of corridor. For example , workshops etc, road maintenance companies, labor employment , small vendors,.etc .....just imagine....how big is this project.

This thread is in a threat to become a racist troll thread.

The thing is despite some unimpressive posts this thread largely has been informative and to an extent mature and I would like for it to stay that way bcz genuine discussions are being generated over here. Genuine concerns are raised by both sides even by those who blame both parties and want this to end as soon as possible with the best possible result keeping in mind the outlook and the future of Pakistan and not provinces ( and that goes for federal as well!!).

PTI's timeline and performance

Year 2013

- Failed to produce anything from those 90 days promises
- Lead the campaign for peace talks with Taliban despite their jail breaks and killings.
- Opposed Karachi operation
- Temporarily resigned from national assembly in protest of 'election rigging'

Year 2014

- Dharna in Islamabad with Qadri for 126 days. Break parliament gate, attack PTV, etc
- Chinese President delayed official visit for at least 6 months hence CPEC.
- APS Peshawar attack.

Year 2015

- KPK local bodies elections rigged
- Party divided into 2 groups
- All leaders wasting their time on NA-122, NA-125, and NA-154 cases.

Year 2016 (Present)

- Threatening with 'extreme steps' if CPEC is built.

In short in KPK:

* No law and order improvement (NAP). The few areas that improved were due to Army's Zarb e Azb efforts
* No foreign investments
* No energy projects
* No Infrastructure projects ; i.e. Metro Bus and Skytrain cancelled.
* No improvement in education ; projects like Tamer e school cancelled and ministry given to JI
* Less than half of provincial budgets utilized

Only 1 achievement in 3 years - Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Peshawar.

Generally it has been the policy of neither we will play nor let you play.
