China has decided to start production of their own indigenous version of the Tu-22M3 bomber under a 1.5 billion dollar agreement with Russia. A total of 36 planes will be produced, which will use extensive Chinese design and technology. The first batch will be produced in 2011.

Like the J-11B, the Chinese version of the Tu-22M3 will completely use Chinese technology and parts.

Heavy payload is achieved by our H-8 stealth bombers.

The Chinese Tu-22M3 (called H-10) will be used for pinpoint strike roles because it's faster.
 
It is a good choice but air dominance must be achieved before bringing these in. Remember what happened when Russia sent one to Georgia their SAMs shot it down fast. Though i suppose you could use them as a mass cruise missile launching platform.
