Once (and if) China becomes the overwhelming #1 superpower, Japan/Korea or even Singapore will be the best friends and they will say friendship is forever like people will forget about history. These are just pest countries they can't wait for China's decline but they will lick the floor before you walk on without you asking it, as long as you are a superpower.

Indians need to invest 100's of billion of dollars in R&D, but they only put in the minimum. take for instance Kaveri jet engine. they've been working on that for what 30 years and the budget has been less than $1 billion dollars, haha. not going to work.
