Sources say due to changes in the international situation and the need to resolve South China Seaissues, Chinese military have recently drawn up a plan to conduct reclamation at Mischief and Fiery Cross Reefs. China was one of the biggest aid donors to Vietnam. In the anti-American struggle, China and Vietnam became real friends. Relations between the two were "as close as lips and teeth." . . . During this period of opposing a much stronger enemy, the more Vietnam could let China fight hand in hand with Vietnam, the more advantageous for Vietnam to prevent America from using these two archipelagoes, and avoid attacks from the South China Sea [the East Sea in Vietnamese]. We have to understand the above statements in this spirit.36

With this rationale, in 1975 Vietnam asserted its claims to both the Paracels and the Spratlys and physically took possession of the six Spratly islands that the former South Vietnamese regime had occupied. In later years other islands were added.

It was the first asian country to claim and garrison the islands and Chinese fishermen were there before Vietnam. Philippines did not claim the islands until the 1970s under Marcos. Not true, China did claim the sea/ islands in the last 2000 years.
Vietnam also claim those islands based on their history book, but according to the ancient map of Vietnam, those islands are not even related to those which were claimed by Vietnam in the past. Vietnam mistook China's islands are theirs.

as everybody knows, the Viet lived further South next to the South China Sea while the Han settled down further North next to the East China Sea.

you call our generals low iq, we didn't place any important military hardware on there, even if you do bomb it so what? All it would do is give us an excuse to retaliate.

working with Americans and Japan, China has nuclear missiles and has started patrols with Nuclear subs, that means at any point, China can launch a nuclear strike to cover all major cities of America within hours.

That leaves Japan, all Japanese fighters except their own "indigenous" one is limited in capabilities by the US to not give them attacking capabilities. The Japanese landing force maybe good with their helicopter carriers, but it lacks offensive weapons like good landing crafts and in numbers, and amphibious assault vehicles. They abilities to attack is severely limited.

Also if you want to talk low morale, Japanese self defence force is known to be low morale. It's no secret. As to China, being a communist country too, I thought you would know about what the communists are best at.
