I dont think that will deter China from going there, we have being in Africa countries that are not better than Mexico...and we still able to do business with them.

I'm wondering if this will motivate the U.S. to develop it's own HSR. Imagine? Being outpaced by....Mexico?

I heard many Americans think investment on HSR is waste of money. Its seems only few countries in the world are deep in train travel.
